  • Thanks for this review! We're looking at using one from autoshare and weren't sure if it would take our 3 in car seats. We have those same car seats. Our 8 year old still fits in hers and we haven't found a booster that fits as nicely between her brothers radians. She has the princess pattern radian and has no intention of giving it up before she has to it anyway.

  • What's the range difference between just a driver and three kids, plus stroller, etc?

  • For all the LEAF reviews out there, this one shows the *practical* side of the car which is missing from all others. Great job!

  • Also is that mom on fucking crack? Those kids are way too old for those baby seats. I feel so sorry for those kids.

  • @MegaDeathwarrant What do you know about car seat laws in North Amercia? Car accidents are by far the leading cause of death in Children under 15 years old. Regular seats and boosters just aren't cutting it.

  • @motherintoronto Car accidents are caused more by old people than teens, that's a fact buddy. And btw this has nothing to do with what I said.

  • afordable? Id lol

  • ok we get it you can fit a bunch of strollers in the trunk my god no one cares. and btw... your full of shit. you can fit ALOT more in MOST trunks of cars. and btw bragging how you can fit 3 car seats in one car is seriously fucking stupid cuz you can fit 6 car seats in almost all suvs and 3 or 2 in most coupes and luxury cars. so dont be trying to convince people to get this car cuz its extremly dangerous with 3 kids int he car like that anyway.. i mean look at the size of that thing! jesus

  • @crzy4recon I have 3 kids. I don't need to fit 6 car seats. I need to fit 3. Her review was supposed to show practical use. She did just that.

  • it's not sooo safe for kids but it's ok accorduing to the Euro NCAP rating but most regular hatchbacks like the golf all scored better.

  • that's a lot of car seats in one car. world record?

  • Great video! I wonder if that will fit alias or A380?

  • Hi

Thanks for great video. Does the Nissan Leaf have ISOFIX (international standard for attachment points for child safety seats in passenger cars) or LATCH as you call it in US?

    Norway, Europe.

  • @catta1979 It does have LATCH.

  • chevy volt is way better. This is the worst looking car i've seen.

  • The Leaf wont be 100% electric in a couple of years. lol.

  • decent demo. good to show the size of the back seat. but who sits with the seat all the way forward. i work for Nissan and all the cars have good legroom with the seats forward. how does the legroom look with a full size person in there

  • Kid in the middle is mortified. This clip will follow him through high-school. He is doomed.

  • Hey I just wanted to say GREAT JOB on keeping the kids in 5 point harnesses! it is so much safer for them to be in 5 point then in Booster seats where the child could slip out in an accident, my 4 year old is still 5 point harnessed at 53lbs in the Graco natulis=) and my almost 1 year old will be ERF till 35lbs and then graduate to the Graco Natulis

  • @jsrcamp Thanks! After being involved in several car accidents and talking to several child safety experts, it’s really scary to me how many parents don’t understand that. My 7 year old actually was in a booster but after being in a car accident he asked to be moved back into a 5 point harness.

  • Nice review, thanks for the hint..

  • What a helpful review, thank you so much! Before I'll even spend my time test driving a vehicle I need to know it will fit my family's needs. We already have a Nissan Quest and are in the market for a smaller second car, the LEAF is now on the table for consideration knowing it wouldn't be a complete waste of time to test drive because it meets some of the practical needs of my family. Anyone can tell me how it drives, a real mom knows what I'm looking for, thanks!

  • People, people, most people do not need 3 car seats. Yes most car seats are bulky but 2 would fit in most cars. Thats a no brainer. Duh! Thanks for a real-life review of the vehicle. Now I have a better perspective of space for the car. Sheesh people.

  • I'm interested in seeing how an rear facing infant car seat would fit in these cars. They tend to be bulkier than those in the video

  • All I see here is a parent with way more money than sense.

  • @partymonk I'd say she's quite poor, especially for three kids.

  • that's the shi.... review ever. It's a f.... trunk review, it doesn't say anything about the car as an electric car... it could be any car! How did the car work out for you in terms of drivability, range, charging, performance, economy, comfort level and so on and so forth...

  • @SimsenDK1 Dude, read the title! Did you not understand?

  • @sompasongs ah, yeah...I clicked in to this video from a site that said it was a review of the nissan leaf.. .so NO!

  • @SimsenDK1

Why don't you look at the title first before commenting. There are plenty other reviews that cover everything but this issue.

  • Lady what are you doing to your kids??? Let's not wait til high school to allow your children not to be laughed at by all their friends.

  • great review for early parents!

  • boring review...

  • What about rear-facing car seat? Did you try it?

  • Thank you good test , comment from germany ;-)

  • Thanks for a "real life" review of this car. Fitting 3 carseats in a car can be a huge challenge. Keeping kids in a 5 point harness car seat for as long as possible is important to me, so it was nice to see a bigger child still in a 5 point harness.

  • The boy in the middle is NOT too big for the car seat. If he's under the weight limit and the straps are at or above his shoulders, he's fine. It is so much safer to keep kids in car seats as long as possible. It's scary how many people don't like the hassle and take their kids out of their car seat too early.

  • The kid in the middle is well within the weight limit for the carseat and according to most state laws is actually required to be in at least a booster. We spoke with a carseat tech who told us that she rarely sees kids under 10 who are safe riding without a carseat or booster.

  • This shows some real world needs for people interested in this car that have small kids.

With every car model there should be a video like this showing most known strollers. I'd like to see how the Maxi-Cosi Mura would fit in the Leaf's trunk.
