  • fat boys were my favorite group back then sraight hip hop baby.

  • I'm 35 now and my first record was the Fat Boys. Hip-hop is life.

  • My first real introduction to hip hop was this group from Brooklyn(FAT BOYS) and a group from Queens(RUN DMC). So to go with my lil boom box those were my first 2 cassettes. Long live Hip Hop!

  • iluminati lmfao free masons and shit

  • WEST COAST- i remember 1983 my mother brought this record home for me and my older brother "my first official hip hop album" that i owned..im tellin ya'll if ya'll missed this era in hip hop and claim this culture I FEEL SORRY FOR U

    UNO

  • Wow, these are some innovative, underground sounds. I always assumed the Fat Boys were something of a novelty act because of the food-themed songs. But this is impressive, especially as the Human Beat Box seems to be carrying the bulk of the music himself.

  • @MrWoofington Human Beat Box was the fat boys

  • @MrWoofington wow ur making the song sound boreing with all your big words just shhh and listen :P

  • RAP SHOULD HAVE BEEN FORBIDDEN IN THE 90´S SO EVERYBODY HAS TO DIG IN THE 80`S AND LEARN FROM THE RAPS AND LYRICS NOWADAYS BITCHES LIKE JAY-Z RAP ABOUT MONEY BITCHES AND BLING AND THE KIDS LISTEN TO HIM WHAT A SHAME SOMEONE SHOULD SMACK THE SHIAT OUTTA JAY-Z FUKKIN ILLUMINATI BITCH . RESPECT TO THE 80´S and to THE ALMIGHTY GOD. PEACE

  • RESPECT FAT BOYS PLEASE .

  • Wow. Remember when hip-hop didn't suck?

  • Yes, today hip hop is just about sex, drugs, cars, and futuristic crap. 80s and 90s rocks. 2000s suck.

  • not all of it theres a lot of underground artist making the sound of truth out there

you cant generalize an entire era

just cause usee some wack ass rapper on mtv

can u claim vanilla ice and marky mark as the better than some of the well known indie MC's?

    or are they garbage too?

  • of course marky mark and vanilla ice are gay

  • @mqg96 You´re right, guy! Homem na Estrada from Brazil!

  • @mqg96 you're right guy!

  • @mqg96 Dont forget they also rap about how "rich" they are o yea you just made the best comment in you tube EVER!!!!!!!

  • Yeah.... im 15 and i remember

  • this is true hip hop too bad my favorite member is dead the human beatbox

  • @MegatallicAfan666 this is real hi[p hop this song ALONE is better than 50 top rap songs right now i think they would have still been a great part of hip hop and since everyone is elling out NOW..they would be a perfect fit in todays music and plus they were marketable and didnt front and had real talent-says uzipolo-king of decatur

  • Buffy and Doug E. Fresh--Pioneers of the Human Beat Box

  • if youre fat and black and you dont know how to beat box you got problems!!! lmao

  • Music is timeless old school shit last forever new shit these days last only like a month and u get sick of it WORD

  • 100% real hip hop!!!!!! The Fat Boys the truth. To bad they were the fist big group to sellout and try to cross over

  • whats their story?

i only discovered them a few weeks back

  • they were discovered in 1983 by winning a talent show, they are from brooklyn NY they had true street cred until their managemnet forced them to change it up to do bubble gum re makes that tried to appeal to the masses and made god awful movies the fat boys are prince markie dee, kool rock ski(now cool rock) and the human beatbox buff(who later died) they were featured in the movie krush groove and were belivable characters in beatboxing they are MORE recognizable for this art

  • this is real hip hop and its a SHAME they dont get the real props they deserve they were doing what rappers are DOING now, but back then they were called sell outs one of the first to combine melody in rap(not dre dre, what puff daddy said on behind the music) and they got kurtis blow davy dmx and russel simmons to thank for this also check out dj mista sinista cut this record up on here on youtube..amazing to the eye, devestaiung to the ear say suzipolo-king of decatur

  • about this is real hip hop or not, i believe that may be an opinion which i think too!

thanks for taking the time to tell me their history cheers dude!

  • When I say sellout I mean sellout. They did a song with the Beach boys. In the 80s rap was almost segregated. Young Blacks like it and that was the bulk of the fans(not saying nobody else was a fan) They change there sound to crossover for one reason, money. After that they lost there fan base and it was over for the group. But when they first came out they were nice.

  • I remember this.

    Thanks for posting.

    The Fat Boys rule!

    5 stars.

  • No problem bro. Thanks for rating the vid.

  • Sure thing.

  • I saw these dudes live in 1984. They put on a live show!!!

  • Oh shiiz! To bad I cant remember anything from the 80's xD

    I like what I hear =p

  • I've never heard of them untill I seen they're movie....I'm only 14....but I swear they're the bomb

  • same here im 16 i saw da movie at age 5 it was on HBO lol just relating

  • 80z baby Diz shyt neva getz old LET DA MUSIC PLAY

  • Fatboys will always RULE !!!

When you hear " . . and when my mouth starts to movin I will not stop cause I'm all the way live with so much juice . . " that snippet there is soo damn smooth it works with with the beat and just gets you moving.

I don't think they knew how genius they were.

I would love to have a time machine and put 80's rappers against today's rappers and everyone would watch the true talent as the 80's rappers would tear them up!

  • Fat Boys are back;-)

  • big ups to Buff.. and those hot Gazelle's he's wearing ..

  • AHU AHU AHU AHU AHU lol funny

  • Talk about OG!!! This is the Shiiiiit!!
