I just stumbled onto your clip. An excellent tribute to the program. I remember watching Fireball XL5 in it's first (and only) run on U.S. TV on the NBC network in 1963. It's been a favorite of mine forever, and I'm glad to see that you didn't try to "improve" it with out-of-place elements. You kept true to the original, and this fan is especially grateful. Again, Excellent work you can be very proud of.
Lovely piece of work! Glad you've kept the style points of the XL5 craft the same, with their 1950's proportions (World Space Patrol clearly built them in the same aircraft factories that built WW2 bombers...). It's surreal seeing them in HD colour.
That was FAB! Awesome launch shot and loved Fireball Junior landing in the green forested environment! Reminds me of my Dad reading my Fireball XL5 Little Golden Book to me. Watching the original series on KTVU-2 Oakland CA was formative. My kindergarten lunch box was Fireball XL5, and I got the "big set" of Fireball and Space City for Christmas - wish I still had it! Thanks for the awesome blast from the past brought into the future!
That was incredible! May I ask what 3D program(s) you used to make this? This is excellent. I assume you work professionally in the visual effects industry.
Tres cool! I, too, am old enough to recall watching this on Saturday mornings on it's first run on US television, and this rings wonderfully true in spirit. Thank you for sharing it.
Old-school XL5 fan here (saw it when it was first on TV!). Fantastic job! Glad that you included even a smidgen of the launch sequence (best part of the show, IMHO). Bra-VO.
What you have done with this is nothing less than fantastic and awe inspiring! Steve Zodiac would be proud. I've listened to this and the Don Spencer song over and over again. What a great movie this would be! Long live FIREBALL XL5.
I loved how I could watch this and remember all the episodes that featured the different space ships and planets. Thank you

Wow!
I'll be just 106 years old when all this takes place!
One of my friends have a model/toy of Fireball (I couldn't afford one) and can only just remember the series...
Thanks for posting this epic.

Effin' beautiful. That's what I call _bringing it on home_. Sunset shot of the planetary space station. So totally right.
