In my opinion, and this opinion is pretty far out there, but I think ABC planned to cancel this show from the beginning and bring it back around 2015 to show how the characters have changed; the poster in the video said Happy New Year 2015. Why bother to add a second flashback at all if they knew the show would end up being cancelled?
@thebaseballcardguru They didn't know it was cancelled when they filmed it. You don't plan to cancel a show and un cancel it. Actors find new work, fans find new shows, it doesn't happen. The writers had a storyline set up for season2 involving the 2nd flash forward but we'll never get to see it.

Is it so convenient to have the FBI building blow up after the blackout it said the building waz gonna blow as Mark tried to run out but then the blackout occured so what it means was y did it go off after not during the blackout.
OOO... I just had a good idea!!! They could bring back Flashforward and use the end of the world/2012 in to the story and people get flashforwards of what's going on, and save others and themselves cos they know what's going to happen etc... but hey it's an idea and if it get's made I don't care if I'm not acknowledged but fuck me it'd be cool to say I had that idea way back ;)
Can't believe it was canceled? I can. The show had so much potential but in the end, wasn't great. If they were to ever get this show back, changes would have to happen to make it more interesting.
I miss this show, I still believe there will be a season 2 though.
This show was the first one that grabbed my attention. I loved every moment of it, the plot twists that I could see coming were rare, and the concept was outstanding.
It's amazing what the show blossomed into from that first episode. It brought new characters together from the first to last episode, and they went all over the globe, only to end season 1 back in LA.

@IrishScouser101 No, you can't just pack up your show and move somewhere else. ABC owned the rights to the show. It's like saying DC cancelles all Batman titles, so they go and take the character to Marvel. There are contracts, rights, among other things.

The New Year date - 2015 - I think, the date on the note - 2011, the radiology card for the chest - probably for the character who had cancer (can't remember his name - NO SLEEP :-)) - I think the will was his - and maybe he's going to commit suicide with the gun. Looks like someone is getting married - my guess - Charlie, who, I think, says Mark has been found. And the baby servives, & he's being christened.
@CVActor1 also the korean and his girlfriend are getting married, and you remember the episode 17, there was a board on that said 2016, THE END. And right here we can only see Flashforwards to 2015. So 2016 the end of Flashforwards and Future of destiny and free will or, so only destiny. Or the end of the world ? What up ?
Helicopter has been waiting for Mark but he couldn't catch it. I can't see any explosion after the blackout around the FBI building, it means the heli didn't fall. @Dhruv1223 at first, it isn't 10 seasons, it's only 6 and it's ended this spring, second-last 3 seasons are shorter(they made it look rather like a long movie, than a series, quality rised up after season 3)
3-d it's not a thriller series, it's combination of drama, mystery, adventure,science fiction, action and detective, it has almost all genres,that's why most of people love this show so much, it's for everyone
Oh no wonder I didn't like it. Not really interested in Drama series prefer Drama movies in that way. In tv series I like a little thriller element. Which is why I like Flash Forward even though I found a few parts slightly cheesy.

it's not a drama show only because it has dramatic elements, I hate drama shows, they are for women, I can't stand them at all, LOST is a completely different story, doesn't FF have dramatic elements? and actually, FF is very similar to LOST, because it was made for L fans who are sad about the fact that it was ending, only in LOST actors act better, I personally prefer first season of FF instead of 1-st of LOST,but in later it's better

@BigTimeJonas I don't think he is alive. at the moment he jumped to the helicopter, the new flashforward begins. when he should have had success to get to helicopter ... well then ... the helicopter crashes. two possibilities. but little hope that he survived it. This is probably the explanation why there is no second season.
They should bring it back! All we got was the implied ending that he didn't die in the explosion, because his daughter saw a lady in her flash forward saying: "We found him!" If ABC would stop this pulling-a-show-from-the-airwaves-before-it- really-has-a-chance-to-establish-its'-audience-then-putting-it back-after-the-momentum-is gone crap, the show would probably never have been cancelled in the first place!!!
@50pierrot50 I think you're right. But one thing doesn't make sense. The Flash-Forwards are only 6 months ahead. So how did she get so much older in 6 months? The same disease of fast-aging as soap opera children maybe? It doesn't make total sense because of that.
@CVActor1 the flashforward for this one took place in different time spans. there were 2 different dates shown, 2011, and 2015, as wel las a few other things shown that went too fast to be specified. i saw them last time i watched teh flashforward, but i cant recall what i saw. but it is important stuff. anyhow, that girl that said it was charlie

With Lost now over, this had definitely been a worthy successor.
Hopefully someone changes there mind sometime soon.
The only reason it had such low live viewings is because of the three/four month hiatus that Lost and V continued airing straight through. How could any newborn show have possibly competed with that?

@Mortalitus93 American Networks are f**king stupid. After the first couple episodes which had good ratings, they stupidly ordered 22 which made the show drag on in the middle then that absolutely pointless four month gap killed it. You're spot on with V, 12 'to the point' episodes with no breaks is perfect!

Flashforward was an epic season and I really do hope ABC reconsiders their decision on cancelling it and bring it back for another season to wrap up any loose ends. When Lost aired it's first season the ratings were unbelieveable but then the 2nd season lost more than half its viewers worldwide and look where they went= six seasons. It will be back and if not I will be writing a very powerful fan fiction to wrap up the loose ends.
I agree with the helicopter QED things. Didn't Dyson Frost say something about the thing that will save you is the lady you see every day? Then inside the lady was the QED ring? I know Simon has that exact QED ring, but it's still a possibility.

@Dhruv1223 at first, it isn't 10 seasons, it's only 6 and it's ended this spring, second-last 3 seasons are shorter(they made it look rather like a long movie, than a series, quality rised up after season 3)
3-d it's not a thriller series, it's combination of drama, mystery, adventure,science fiction, action and detective, it has almost all genres,that's why most of people love this show so much, it's for everyone

Oh no wonder I didn't like it. Not really interested in Drama series prefer Drama movies in that way. In tv series I like a little thriller element. Which is why I like Flash Forward even though I found a few parts slightly cheesy.

it's not a drama show only because it has dramatic elements, I hate drama shows, they are for women, I can't stand them at all, LOST is a completely different story, doesn't FF have dramatic elements? and actually, FF is very similar to LOST, because it was made for L fans who are sad about the fact that it was ending, only in LOST actors act better, I personally prefer first season of FF instead of 1-st of LOST,but in later it's better

@BigTimeJonas I don't think he is alive. at the moment he jumped to the helicopter, the new flashforward begins. when he should have had success to get to helicopter ... well then ... the helicopter crashes. two possibilities. but little hope that he survived it. This is probably the explanation why there is no second season.

He was the main character for the first season - even if there's only a slight possibility of survival, it means he survived.
There's no second season because it got low ratings - I know! How the... ughh.
If the second season doesn't go ahead, I can imagine they would use "Marc didn't survive" as an excuse though.

They should bring it back! All we got was the implied ending that he didn't die in the explosion, because his daughter saw a lady in her flash forward saying: "We found him!" If ABC would stop this pulling-a-show-from-the-airwaves-before-it- really-has-a-chance-to-establish-its'-audience-then-putting-it back-after-the-momentum-is gone crap, the show would probably never have been cancelled in the first place!!!

@50pierrot50 I think you're right. But one thing doesn't make sense. The Flash-Forwards are only 6 months ahead. So how did she get so much older in 6 months? The same disease of fast-aging as soap opera children maybe? It doesn't make total sense because of that.

@CVActor1 the flashforward for this one took place in different time spans. there were 2 different dates shown, 2011, and 2015, as wel las a few other things shown that went too fast to be specified. i saw them last time i watched teh flashforward, but i cant recall what i saw. but it is important stuff. anyhow, that girl that said it was charlie

With Lost now over, this had definitely been a worthy successor.
Hopefully someone changes there mind sometime soon.
The only reason it had such low live viewings is because of the three/four month hiatus that Lost and V continued airing straight through. How could any newborn show have possibly competed with that?

After the first couple episodes which had good ratings, they stupidly ordered 22 which made the show drag on in the middle then that absolutely pointless four month gap killed it. You're spot on with V, 12 'to the point' episodes with no breaks is perfect!

Just noticed something..... on the ABC player app, there used to be a promo that said "Watch the Series Finale" and now it just says "Watch the Finale"..... I am taking this as a good sign and I am hoping that they are reconsidering it.

@impvr1 Tai sitten niillä helikopterilentäjillä oli sormukset, ja Mark lensi siitä ikkunasta, ja helikopterissa oleva tyyppi otti Markin kiinni. Siinä ei näkynyt mitään helikopterin törmäystä. FlashForward jättää namä pikkuiset yksityiskohdat vapaiksi, ja siksi se on niin hyvä.

Flashforward was an epic season and I really do hope ABC reconsiders their decision on cancelling it and bring it back for another season to wrap up any loose ends. When Lost aired it's first season the ratings were unbelieveable but then the 2nd season lost more than half its viewers worldwide and look where they went= six seasons. It will be back and if not I will be writing a very powerful fan fiction to wrap up the loose ends.

I agree with the helicopter QED things. Didn't Dyson Frost say something about the thing that will save you is the lady you see every day? Then inside the lady was the QED ring? I know Simon has that exact QED ring, but it's still a possibility.
