  • it was a great video...keep it up...stu

  • I saw him last summer in concert (when I was 12!) and he didn't sing this song. I guess his voice changed too much to sing it...

  • @LittlePizzelle Hey dude... what's up? Hope u ok... So I saw him too last year and he sang this song his voice still rules :D

  • Thanks for posting. Great audio quality. And well said about the video at the beginning.

  • Just makes me smile. I stay current with my tunes, but I still dust off the antique gems now and again. Why don't they get that? Broaden your mind and see what your missing. Life is too short to live in a little box. When I was a teenager the radio station played Motown, British Invasion and Pop in their mix. Now you've cubby hole stations with very narrow formats. I guess that's why we all can't get along. Cultural diversity has been replaced by programmers as narrow minded as their listeners.

  • The video somehow fits perfectly with the song, it has the same dreamy feeling that you get with the song

  • i love the video and the song thumbs up

  • What an Album, I saw THE WHOLE BAND at Battersea Power Station last year (yes OK in 4D) what a night (I was driving, Andrea was drinking (For a change) thank you Jagermeister). All I can say I feel almost 15 again and just leaving School (never did put that tie on the flag pole), thank you for the moment Cheers DT..............

  • Love it.

  • I thought your vid was good

  • I loved the entire aspect of your video. Those who've never enjoyed blaring music from a transistor radio...LOL LOL Have honestly never lived! Keep posting such awesome videos PLEASE!!!!

  • This song reminds me of a time when music was something to treasure. A song that can actually take you back. The simple act of closing one's eyes and playing this tune or others like it......and all at once, you are young again. And you can even smell the moment. You cant taste the air that once was. And as the song plays on, and the tears swell up in your eyes, you cant help but smile. I do not believe that the music of today will have the same affect. What fool would cry 4 a 'rap' tune?

  • @TRANSlSTORradio I totally agree.

  • This song, and that radio reminds me of the house I lived in from 1975 - 1979! I was very young then, but my first record album I ever got was "Block Buster" by K-TEL records (all the new hits!), and this song was on it! It still is; I still have it!

  • This was a great time in my life, thanks for this memory again!

  • lol, love the bitch against the kiddos who do not know what a transitor radio is. fuck em. the song rocks and so does the vid. you rock and I enjoy.

  • Brilliant song!!!!! Haters are everywhere... ignore the losers

  • @TRANSISTORradio the commentors say the dumbest shit to get a rise. ignore them. Oh btw I'm 10 and I turn 100 tommorow and I wish I was born 500 yrs. ago instead of yesterday. crazy the dumb comments.

  • beautiful! :)

  • great music in the day

  • I liked it. It is a unique video, the song is a classic, I haven't seen a radio like that in a long time, and the cat was to cool.

  • This is a GREAT song; I cry every time I hear it.

    GREAT WORK FOR POSTING.

  • I get you

  • I love this song and video TRANSISTOR. I enjoy the way you do your videos.

And Happy 64th Birthday to Alice Cooper today!

  • Loved the cat in the end. Cute!

  • Great video, and great reflections. Thanks TRANSISTOR!

  • Transistor...love the kitty at 3:50.....love me some Alice Cooper from this album and Killer.....

  • Wow you must have been rich because that transistor radio is top shelf. Now Santa brought me a transistor radio in 1969, but my dial was just a wheel on the one side to change the AM only and another dial on the other side with numbers for the volume. If I held my sisters to my other ear at the same time I discovered stereo. I would lay in the backyard for hours waiting for McCartney "Uncle Albert" Just like it was yesterday

  • From the days when a song had personality. Not some cookie cutter sound. Sadly some of the modern music now misses the whole thing. When the time alice cooper goes to meet his maker I hope they show the repeat he is due.

  • Look past the obvious in his literal words and see the metaphor that he's exposing in the song. Women bleed; women suffer with child birth, women are often physically abused by their partners, women are second class citizens and women are often looked upon as things not people. My wife and daughter pointed this out when we were truly listening to what he was really saying. Great depiction of the hurt women deal with as they go through life, unfortunate but true, makes you think. Smart man.

  • 14 peolple are bleeding men

  • Get back in the kitchen Alice..

  • What is great with this song is not only that it's a fantastic song in itself, but the impact it's had throughout the years. It was probably way ahead of its' time.

  • Great song! If some don't like it,let it slide.I know its a bad ass song and it brings back them days growing up as a kid.The days when we went outside in the world to do shit and have fun and hanging with are gf's Ok..don't let it slide..Fuck umm! Rock on......

  • People, this song was posted to possibly bring back some memories from an era long long gone. But it appears that there are some assholes out there who choose to be bitter and hateful. I wish that they would just stay on the porn sites and avoid any of the videos I have posted. They have one goal in mind- to try and piss people off. Meanwhile, after they write their inane comments, they have to get some wipes to remove whatever stains they left on the keyboard before they dry up. Jerkoffs.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio Some people only know hate and misery. It is sad. You should not let them seep into your life. Read all the good comments, ignore all the others and live with the fact that you made a LOT of people happy by posting this. Let the miserable people keep their misery not give it to you!

  • @alisonreggie thanks friend. You should have read some ofthe horrible stuff. Thanks for listening

  • @TRANSlSTORradio I loved it. I remember my first transistor. I love the black and white. The lighting is really nice. You did a great job on a song that deserves some artistic setting--more than just showing stupid lyrics. Hats off to you. Very original.

  • @cesar1963able thank you for understanding that great music must be heard again. I chose to do something different from others when posting these vids. Some people just upload an image and let the song play. Fine. We can close our eyes and enjoy a piece of musical history never played on the radio anymore. I like having fun. Thanks again.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio Great to find this song on YouTube. Thanks for posting it.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio ha!!! well said my friend!!!! i enjoy the videos youve posted!!!! and the music!!!! like you said, who gives a sh#@ what morons comment or say!!! thanx for the music and the vids and keep em coming!!! PEACE!!!

  • @TRANSlSTORradio Good song, nice touch with the old transistor radio.... don't worry about the negs....

  • @gr8skpz One other thing, how can you rip off someone else's work when it has already been done. Are you dyslexic or just got a hold of some bad acid?

  • @gr8skpz Shit, Alice Cooper has socks older than Kid Rock. The song was written by Alice Cooper and Dick Wagner. Next time do your homework before misinforming the public. How about Kid Rock sticks to performing his own material instead of doing covers of classic rockers songs?

  • Somebody clearly doesn't get the joke.

  • @gr8skpz ..that's just funny :)

  • oh the days of a m radio . u could here a song like this then a motown song , then a country cross over . and now thanx to the you tube u can here them all again . thanx to all who put these songs and vids up.

  • stunning.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio one would hv2 assume he's making a joke?

  • @gr8skpz Alice did this song when Kid rock was covered in sperm in his dads nut sack you idiot.

  • One of the best Vince has ever done.

  • Bleed is one of Cooper's best songs. The video would be easier to watch if it did not have the radiio. Just saying, not being negative.

  • Alice was rockin when Kid Rock was still swimming in his daddy's sack. Good vid by the way kid- screw the negative people.

  • And for the record it"s just my opinion..

  • The songs great the video is dumber than stupid...Get a Life or a imagination....

  • @ruru4444 this was 1975, dumb-ass. It was very imaginative for its' day. compare it to anything and you will see. clearly you have no place in this universe. sit back, learn something before speaking, and then get back to us.

  • awesome video ;) dont listen to what other people say.. its not about the video its the song :)

  • I thought the video was Brilliant!! Love the song <3

  • I must be a hippie or something. I LOVE this song!!!!

  • @alisonreggie 'hippy' was long dead then, girl. this is DETROIT ROCK AND ROLL!!

  • @alisonreggie not a hippie. just brilliant minded!

  • @TRANSlSTORradio thank you, I'll take it! I love your video too!!!

  • @TRANSlSTORradio It reminds me of my childhood. Your neighborhood looks a lot like the one I grew up in. All I had was music and i used to walk around with a radio all the time.

  • @ometta7 and also the fact that women feel more pain in general than men.

  • @joanofarcenciel Where did you hear that load of bullshit?

  • @ometta7 this song.

  • @joanofarcenciel Hmmm.... I guess everybody fucks up once in a while, then.

  • @ometta7 yeah, and it sounds as if yours might be in full swing about now.....idiot.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio lol, nice

  • Nice memories.............. I can remember putting up the old transistor radio antenna up to the water pipe for better reception........ good song

  • Some say "Retro", I say "Reminiscent".

  • Instant thumbs-down just for the moronic cut-and-pasting of a Wikipedia article, without having enough spine or brain cells to even remove the footnote numbers.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio WAS. Vincent Furnier is Alice Cooper now, the band is no more.

  • I'm poisoned by the movement. Cinetosis activation

  • Is that the man you want to be?

  • My friend,I'm sorry about the idiots & their negative comments.I enjoyed your video & the song.Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio Alice Cooper is the name of the lead singer, the band had no real name..

  • @redeemed420 No, it's the other way around. The band was originally called Alice Cooper cause they wanted it to sound like a sweet old lady from down the street. 'Alice' then adopted the name for himself later on

  • @TRANSlSTORradio

Alice Cooper was the name of him AND the group

  • @penekjrr i am retarded? Last night when you were sucking on my joint, you and your mom said i was magnificant! Make up your mind. And yes, albert valenzuela is transistorradio.

  • @PlanTonto its not the video, but your cheap ass mac.

  • I happen to like the video, man. I used to have that same radio! Love the song! Thanks for posting it with a little style.......

  • @penekjrr you are politically incorrect

  • man, really...this video is a piece of art. Some people may not understand art but the video really touch me. It brought memories from my grandparents, from my dead dog and so one. Save this video for your future. I am sure it will bring you some good tears and good memories. Congratulations !!!

  • @cetmarino1979 I do have many fond memories of this song, and when i put this together, i never intended it to be about the vid, but about what i consider one of the most beautiful songs i have heard. It evokes a time when i was so young and never understood the lyrics, but now that i am older, it all makes sense to me now. My transistor still works too!

  • I have to add that I like the video. It adds to the music.

  • Amazing song. Nicely arranged.

  • Wow, it used to be about the music, today any person can put a music track to a video and it gets a bazillion hits. Try to produce the music, see how easy that is.

  • I had a radio like that! Love to listen to it when I am outside on summer evenings. Love your videos.

  • Like the way the cat shook its head, like he was confused.

  • mmmmmmmmm

  • Thanks for posting this song............I liked seeing the transistor radio, it brought back a lot of memories! Thanks again for an Eternal Classic!

  • Im proud to say that I was born on Feb. 4th! :)

  • one of the best concerts i have ever seen great show

  • This is one of the best songs ever written and this is coming from an 18 year old, so don't say us youngins don't appreciate good music lol :p I wish I could have gone to one of the original welcome to my nightmare shows it looks psychedelic as hell.

  • @GodsOwnsPr0t0type I am 47 years old and have nearly given up hope on MOST of the younger generation as far as their musical tastes, but you my young friend seem to have extremely mature and classic taste. Gives us old dudes alot more hope for the upcoming gen. Keep Rockin!!

  • Thanks for posting this song, one of Alice's best. I just downloaded it to my Ipod.

  • Thanks for posting this song, one of Alice's best.

  • pay no attn to vile comments .. hes laughing in cash ! Detroits Alice

  • Hey man...screw each and any asshole who messed with you. You did a great job with a great song.

  • I got goosebumps. Alice <3<3

  • gayest song ever cos men bleed aswell

  • @burberrycap13returns This song is about the abuse women suffer at the hands of men... Thus, they bleed. Listen to the song next time before you post ignorance.

  • @burberrycap13returns you are just CLUELESS

  • @burberrycap13returns You are just (and I will be as nice as possible here), C L U E L E S S as hell about the phrase "bleed". This song is way deeper than someone of your mental capacity is able to comprehend!!

  • @iambri1965 thank you for your comment. some people are so ignorant that they take everything so literal. This song is about the pain that women endure at the hand of abusive men. And it could go the other way as well. Some people are just smartasses and leave comments just to get reactions....and it works....but if anyone would just take a sec to listen to the words and the message....the meaning is deeper than the title. This is one of the best records......ever.

  • TRANSlSTORradio Kudos to you my pal, Alice is one of the alltime greats in many generations of music and people like you and I made it possible for Alice to progress. I am lucky enough to to have been able to see Alice in concert twice (Wish I could have seen them 200 times)!! At any rate I really dig your comments as well as MOST of the other adult comments here.

  • One of the best soft rock songs EVER by a hard rock artist.

  • One of the best soft rock songs by a hard rock artist EVER.

  • I was in middle school when this song came out I remember being obsessed with it. I barely remember seeing welcome to my nightmare in an altered state - the first of many altered states! Glad I made it out of that era in on piece and with my sanity LOL

  • This song is actually about physical abuse toward women.

  • From the golden era of producers : Bob Ezrin !!! Pure genius. What a sound ! This album has been with me all of my life. The details in the song are fantastic. Slight pizzicato violins for a moment. The lush seventies orchestration, the heartfelt vocals. I'm gettin' maudlin. I wish some band nowadays could touch me in the same way. Thanks Alice and Bob.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio oh and on top of that i do love how the description you have put up for this video has come straight word for word off of wikipedia, you silly fool.

  • @TRANSlSTORradio Sorry to correct you but i think you will find that Alice Cooper is Vincent Damon Furnier's alter ego stage name, he said in an interview that whenever he goes on tour or on stage he instantly turns into a dark more sexual and vigorous person ergo he gave that person a name that he thought quiet fitting. Sorry again it just bug me a little, obviously i don't think your a douche because you like alice so respect.

  • @episkeuo Way back in the sixites, the original band name was Alice Cooper

  • @TRANSlSTORradio Idk, I was just at the show and at the end he said "And playing the part of Alice Cooper, ME!"

  • @TRANSlSTORradio Untrue. He actually goes by the name "Alice Cooper". Today, his passions are golf and classic cars, and, yes.........he STILL goes by the name "Alice Cooper". Saw a recent interview with him and he appeared there as "Alice".

  • @INTIMIDATOR3FAN yeh he goes by that name because that's how people would recognise him, he wouldn't appear on a t.v show and be presented as vincent people not in the know would be like....."wHAT"

  • @TRANSlSTORradio No it's the name of the singer too.

  • love this song

  • @TRANSlSTORradio it was originally a band yes, but vincent kept the name when he kept on solo, so it applies to both

  • any dude named alice has my respect great tune

  • @MTPawkit ...yeah. He legally changed his name. Amazing how many people don't know this fact.

  • great videos TRANSISTORradio, I've watched quite a few of them and this one is one of my favorites...great concept with an awesome tune. You've got good taste in music.

  • @MTPawkit He actually changed his name from something else to Alice.. He has some serious balls, haha.

  • @TomBrandon121 His name was Vincent Furnier.....Alice does work better though heh

  • any dude named alice has my respect great song

  • yeh,i'm drunk in my mother fuckin' kitchen in my mother fuckin house!

  • Last night, he fuckin made out with a doll....

  • @BlooDragon009

Saw the concert, it is called artistic license. Sometimes Mrs. Sheryl, stands in for whatever character. Mr. Cooper uses Calico Cooper,

in his "skits" as the evil nurse.

  • Someone I know somehow got the impression this song was about menstruation.

  • @evilemperordude boy! that person is really stupid...

  • Very similar to the first transistor radio i had back in the day. Man i remember walking all around with that damn radio thinking i was the coolest listening to all this great music.

  • 10 menaupause women dont bleed...ewww

  • If u Dislike Alice cooper that just shows how much of an asshole u r

  • 10 Women don´t Bleed haha

  • All of you assholes just don't get it. Get beat once and a while and you might get it.

  • @springs215 Oncawhile? You are a fool if you stayed after the first beating. Get away from it and meet a decent guy, and you might get it.

  • Comment removed

  • I like the old PAN am/fm, but I am 50. My wife "my son's stepmother has stuck with me for four years after my only child "my son" was murdered, just get's harder. I just get more self loathing & destructive. Would never hurt her just can't see how she can watch me, & stay. Alice is right Only Women Bleed. Great song, good video.

  • well spotted by Frank Zappa(produced alice's first album) "only women bleed" for my ex-wife 'cause she deserves it & if I don't get all my music aff her shortly that's exactly what she'll be doing when I next see the cow!

  • I love this video. What an interesting idea... a transistor radio floating around playing Alice Cooper. Love that it's in black and white. Weird, but that's the best part. Kind of funny how it's chasin' the pussycat at the end. Heh.

  • Love Alice, Love this song. What is up with the Transistor Radio? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Stupid video, good song

  • @theapocilip stupid commnent good song

  • Alice makes Music real!

  • I've seen them in the 70s and in the 2010 season, STILL A GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!

  • This song has such a beautiful melody and such a sad text. It's wondrous. Alice Cooper is truly great artist.

  • I like!!

  • How true the words are

  • How

  • very under rated song

  • @33109Joker Not really.... it was #12 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart in 1975... Sure it's not that popular now..but what song has stayed at the top of the chart for nearly 40 years?

  • @33109Joker Alice Cooper wasn't that famous...

  • @MusicFlaMeS Honestly im only 14 and Alice is way before my time and I know that he is my favorite band or artist!!! ALICE IS ALICE AND THAT IS WHY HE SHOULD HAVE 250 MILLION VIEWS ON ONE OF HIS LEAST POPULAR VIDEOS!!! HE IS ADDICTING TO EVERY GENERATION THAT THERE WAS, IS, AND IS TO COME!!!

  • @Ibanez1033 Haha! Yeah! Alice Rocks! Ibanez! Lol guitar fan!

  • @MusicFlaMeS more famous than you fuckin hater

  • @33109Joker SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU ARSE HOLE. WHO SAID I HATED ALICE COOPER. ARSE HOLE. READ ALL COMMENTS BEFORE COMMENTING. BITCH FACE.

  • @MusicFlaMeS wow illiterate much? and i dont need a peragraph to tell yah that dildo

  • Great vid,I love the coop!

  • I am too young to remember Alice the first time around but I always remember my mum playing this album and as a young girl this was one of the most amazing songs I had ever heard. As I grew up it became personal to me and I'm glad you had the 'proper' version because too much of Alice's stuff is editted nowadays.

    Thank you xx

  • this song brings me many memmories. my uncles used to hear this song when i was a small boy. for me this is one of my most favorites song by ALICE COOPER!!

  • Loved his concert in 77 in Portland Maine, or what I remember. lol

  • three drunks stumbled and hit the dislike button on their way to the like corner
