The only time AKUS is even mentioned is when Dolly shouts it out in the last 4 seconds. That is why I love her. Dolly always tries to give everyone credit, not just the wonderful Alison, but the top players in bluegrass are up there as well and she wants to make sure the audience knows it! However, if they were just a little bluegrass band Shania hired, I think Dolly would point them out to the crowd with just as much enthusiasm.

She lived in a really bad household, Her parents died in a car crash when young and she had to look after her sisters and brothers and and to give up her career search, she then made it big. Its rags to riches like Dolly. She don't want people to feel sorry for her though.

Dolly always tries to give everyone credit, not just the wonderful Alison, but the top players in bluegrass are up there as well and she wants to make sure the audience knows it! However, if they were just a little bluegrass band Shania hired, I think Dolly would point them out to the crowd with just as much enthusiasm.

Allison and Union Station do not just show up and play as a backup band for anybody. In rock and roll terms this is like having the Beatles as your back up band. Nashville royalty.

I love Shania, she was one of the first singers I looked up to growing up, I thought she was sooo cool! And I loved to learn Dolly Parton by my mom... I think they are both great!

@70sRob Its not just that. Her real father beat her mother nearly to death which shania witnessed many times. She lived in a really bad household, Her parents died in a car crash when young and she had to look after her sisters and brothers and and to give up her career search, she then made it big. Its rags to riches like Dolly. She don't want people to feel sorry for her though.
