can someone tell me the point of nitrous purge?

@beyotamito Think of it as "priming the pipes". A purge charges the plumbing with only N2O, and clears out any air/moisture/etc that may accumulate during periods when the nitrous is not used. Hope this helps!

Hooking up a bottle isn't all that hard, and the great thing about no2 is that you get all the bench racing bragging rights and never have to use it. I would never feed that through my engine.

Sweet nitrous purge!

I got a question for you, how did you get it to purge so tall and visable?

I got a single purge on my 01' cobra and its only a 1ft tall and maybe shows up half the time?

You got any idaes or tips?

Nothing special was done.

My guess is atmospheric conditions have an effect on how well you see the "cloud", as does bottle pressure.

Sitting in the driveway purging for the camera was a waste of nitrous, but having a purge kit installed with any nitrous system is worthwhile. Keeping the lines free from moisture or air allows the hit to be instant, delivering only nitrous into the air/fuel mixture.
