I didn't claim they weren't. But you don't gotta be all in my shit cause you're a self-righteous faggot who's clean and sober and thinks they're above everyone else because of it.
you're talking to a man who smokes weed daily, drinks every single night, by that i mean get drunk, and of xanax everyday, i don't think i'm being self righteous at all, i do think however that weed's a drug, even nicatin is a drug.
OK, are you daft? You know what I mean: heroin, meth, coke, angel dust, etc. Those kinds of drugs. I do some thizz every now and then, but that has meth in it so I keep it way down.
The only derection is down-the river of deciet-my pain is self chosen-10 year or so when i was listening to this song it didnt make sense but at the same time it did-another masterpiece from Layne
I MISS LAYNE. This is a really powerful song that hits home to anyone in the way it's written. There was only one Staley it's a goddamned shame he's gone. For anyone reading this, is there a good documentary on Layne I can find anywhere?
how can listening to a song become a narcotics anonymous meeting? Wish people would stop pointing out the negatives of people such as Layne and appreciate the music for what it is and what he has done.
seems like a million years ago. but it was just the other day! he knew that his time had come,oh time for him to walk away. people told him the needle would surely lead to misury,he told them just to look around and they would see it's called home to me! this is part of a song I wrote because of Laynes influence!
I love this song, but i must say of all of Layne's songs "Nutshell" from AiC speaks the most to me - i admire Layne for all his writing, he is one of the darkest, but still in some way comfortable writers, his songs kinda stick to one or another and makes you appreciate things that you might not have been appreciating as much before, they really speak to me, as if Layne knew who i was and were talkin directly to me, and if you ask me - that's what a real singer/songwriter should be able to do.
hay cmaster67 also try a good 12 step program get a sponsor who has good sobrity been down the ugly road of addiction music helps me reflect but wont keep me clean. trust me ive been 5 yrs clean 12/3/08 do it for your self only!!!!!!!!!! good luck its worth the struggle
Listening to Layne's music is the only thing that keeps me from relapsing, not sure why exactly but I know it's helping. I've been clean for 5 months and I honestly think that sacrificing the drug for some extra years wasn't worth it, I'd rather live happy and shot then long and like I am now, down in a hole all the time.
Life is full of ups and downs, enjoy it as much as you can. But do give up keep on keepin on ! It will be worth it in the long run. God bless you man !
dude tell it to your shrink. you should be man enough to make decisions for yourself. the only reason that you think you have a problem is because thats what youve been told. EVERYONE has problems

a headful of lies is the weight tied to my side so true 40 yrs old and still fighting the h addiction.layne was awsome just glad the fight is over for him

I would like to paste in this answer
on a few hundred videos, Have U ever read the Amy winehouse comments.
Maybe because people cant make a intelligent
comment about the music, thats why
they respond like that.
yours Bill from seattle
PS I met Layne a few times he was a
good artist (painter) also.

This song is amazing. It makes me want to pull myself out of depression and go on another day.
loriaicfan 4 years ago 2
This is not a song
this is pure art.
I hate it cause it hurts,
I never experienced this much pain or have I?
Yet this experience is a true feeling but trully, the pain is self chosen in some noble cases only. This guy had a noble spirit.
He will never die!
