@ggqbc hockey is big in the states. however hockey is expensive after gear, lessons, etc. also you need a rink for hockey. i take it you assume that blacks are the best/prototypical athletes (true to a certain extent) but many blacks are poor (no equipment) and live in the south (no rink). and i seriously doubt that any athlete playing at a professional level is not a D class athlete
