Great video! I realize, whenever the subject of Pit Bulls comes up, many people have strong opinions about them, and become argumentative. I honestly wish the cursing, hate, and verbal attacks on one another would just stop. A person is perfectly entitled to love or hate whatever they want. But criticizing each other and verbally attacking 1 another because of one's difference of opinion is very unacceptable. That being said, I happen 2 love Pit Bulls! I have 2 of the sweetest dogs ever!

I think Pit Bulls are beautiful dogs. I never knew anything about pits except what I heard on the news and stuff, and then I ended up with one because a friend couldn't take care of him. He is the smartest and sweetest dog I have ever owned, and I have had dogs my entire life.

Awesome video! I have been around pits for years.I have had many other breeds but the pits have been the MOST affectionate of any I have ever had. I volunteer at a shelter and I can tell you first hand that the pits that come in there even tho abused to the point they cant stand up they still manage to wag their tails and give kisses. As if to say thank you for saving me! It's sad what they have to endure in the name of being a pit. Thank you for posting this... great video!
I should hunt you then, there is no such thing as a bad dog there are bad owners yes dogs can turn as they age and can develop problems that will make them turn but it is the way they get trained that gives them bad names. I know a Pitbull who is trained to comfort the elderly and special needs children.

Your video made me cry. I had a pitbull for almost 12 years. He was my "firstborn son". He was the best boy in the world. He used to put himself between my infant son and the outside world when I would put the baby on the porch and not move until I brought my son in. It's all in how you treat them. I tell that to people all the time who say "How could you have had a PITBULL???" I am really missing my baby today for some reason. I hope to one day have another one.
Yes this is a very good video and i love my pit. my mom and dad had had pis for as long as i can remember that was my first dog when i was two all the pit i have had me and my lil siter could do anything to them dog and they would never hurt us i could stick my hand in their food bowl and would not bite me i couls run and jump on htem and they would do nothing it is a crime to take them away when that is all some people have is their pets and i wont let no one take mine from me

i was bought up with an american pit bull (14 years) VERY powerfull dog, so loyal and wouldnt hurt anybody aboustly loved kids, but struggled really badly with other dogs, only thing that let it down. (was very well loved and looked after), it is in there temperment normally to be like that tho. its ashame that assholes use them for dogfighting.

nice vid. i rescued a pit who was pretty mangled then dumped in a landfill we dont know but we suspect he was thrown in a fight and lost... he's the biggest sweetheart/baby ive ever seen in a dog. Goes to show the stupidity of humans doesnt ALWAYS ruin dogs.

When I found out I took her home and eventually I had to put her down because no matter what I did she was a changed dog. So, my ex-boyfriend can no longer own a dog in Wisconsin and I haven't spoken to him since.
I will also say that it is entirely how a dog is raised, with me she was a doll, a lap-dog, my love. When my ex-boyfriend took her home things changed for her, he tried to fight her and she refused. Her parent's owner had wanted to see how she would do with her brother sparring, but neither dog would fight.
I own a Mastiff and a German Shepherd right now, but I have had and been around a lot of pits in the past. I will admit to originally having a fear of pit bulls, a distrust, but having now spent a lot of time around them and loving one of my own, I can appreciate their personalities and respect them. My girl, Jade, was raised around children, they would lie on top of her to take naps and she would curl up around them to keep them safe. She was an amazing animal.

I used to love pitbulls until one day I stroked one and it randomly bit me and that wasn't too long ago. -_- It was a family pet and the owners said he was fine. They ARE vicious, there's so many attacks, and an adult pit bull is one of the ugliest dogs around.

Oh did I love this video! I never owned a Staffie or a Pitbull myself, but my daughter & her husband had two. I adored those dogs & trusted them completely. One had been adopted AFTER being used as a "fighting Pit" & was as loving & gentle as a lamb! What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful breed. :)

The media loves to show bad images. It isn't as exciting when Dalmations, Collies or other breeds have attacked. BTW Pomeraniums have killed babies. Do some research.

nice vid. i rescued a pit who was pretty mangled then dumped in a landfill we dont know but we suspect he was thrown in a fight and lost... he's the biggest sweetheart/baby ive ever seen in a dog. Goes to show the stupidity of humans doesnt ALWAYS ruin dogs.

When I found out I took her home and eventually I had to put her down because no matter what I did she was a changed dog. So, my ex-boyfriend can no longer own a dog in Wisconsin and I haven't spoken to him since.

I will also say that it is entirely how a dog is raised, with me she was a doll, a lap-dog, my love. When my ex-boyfriend took her home things changed for her, he tried to fight her and she refused. Her parent's owner had wanted to see how she would do with her brother sparring, but neither dog would fight.

I own a Mastiff and a German Shepherd right now, but I have had and been around a lot of pits in the past. I will admit to originally having a fear of pit bulls, a distrust, but having now spent a lot of time around them and loving one of my own, I can appreciate their personalities and respect them. My girl, Jade, was raised around children, they would lie on top of her to take naps and she would curl up around them to keep them safe. She was an amazing animal.

I'll just let you know, I've read both sides of the story, and I found this side more persuading, I've read dog books which portray the pitbull as a bad dog, and these are written by people who know a trifle more about dogs than you. The media does lie, but not everything in there's bollocks, they don't write about it without reasons, they picked the pitbull out of all the other dogs because they ARE bad dogs.

After 20 years of dog training and showing many breeds including pitts has proved to me this.ANY dog can be dangerous if brought up wrong.In my experience a dogs personality is 15% genetics and 85% upbringing. Pitts are no different to any other dog.

I love Pits! Also huskys. My uncle had a pit and a husky and let me tell you they loved each other. He still has them to this day and they are friendly as ever. Pits are a mans dog that are loyal if your loyal to it! Just like Rot weilers are a ONE mans dog.

Besides, most pitbulls and staffies likes to "play rough" (looks alot like fighting), but if you discourage that kind of behaviour it will stop, since it'll do anything for it's owner.
But sure, if not treated right they can be very vicous. The thing that makes pitbulls so dangerous is that they won't stop attacking until either they're dead of their opponents dead.

I used to love pitbulls until one day I stroked one and it randomly bit me and that wasn't too long ago. -_- It was a family pet and the owners said he was fine. They ARE vicious, there's so many attacks, and an adult pit bull is one of the ugliest dogs around.

Oh did I love this video! I never owned a Staffie or a Pitbull myself, but my daughter & her husband had two. I adored those dogs & trusted them completely. One had been adopted AFTER being used as a "fighting Pit" & was as loving & gentle as a lamb! What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful breed. :)

The best, in my experience, the least likely to bite dogs, are pitbulls. Any dogs can bite, and the pit, even when it is abused, beaten, and neglected, can still lick their human companion with love and effection.
