The entertainment quality was nonexistent. It was a nice little love story, but should have stayed on paper, and out of cinema. The casting was appropriate considering the story itself. The real issue with the film, is that rational minded and logically thinking people will watch it...and hate it. And Christians will say they loved it, even if they hated it, simply for the fact of.

@Tallieegirl unfortunately, not everybody is a Christian. Your opinion that everybody should love God is biased to say the least. Loving each other is obviously social construct. You aren't going to love everybody...it isn't possible or rational to do so. As far as the message of the move being good goes...it depends on what message you got.

And the Bible says that those who love God will have eternal life and those who dont will go to Hell pretty much so i don't understand why people wont open their eyes and realize that God is the best thing they could have in their life. I mean really do u want to be in Hell forever?? i wouldnt.. and with God all things are possible...

@Tallieegirl I personally wouldn't want to go to Heaven even if it existed. I would rather die, and revert back to unconscious nonexistence (the same place I was at before I was born). You may ask what if I'm wrong...but I can ask the same thing to anybody else and have the same odds of being correct. I'd rather not waste my time thinking about a next life and trying to impress a diety...I would much rather enjoy everything the current life (that I know exists) has to offer.

@Shad0wCl0wn you wouldn't have a current life without a God, you NEED to worry about the possibilties of a Hell, and get prepared for it...unless, your ready to admit your a sinner and know that God is God, and He's who He says He is...it doesn't take alot to go to Heaven, but it takes doing NOTHING(not excepting Jesus) to go to Hell.. PLEASE...God cares, He died for you, (that's how much he cares). Get right with God before you get left.

@targetisfun using the assumption that Christianity is correct, you still merely have the illusion of free will. If God knows everything even before it happens, then he created every individual already knowing every choice they will ever make. Therefor, he would have had to create that person with the intention of them choosing whatever he already knew they were going to choose.

@targetisfun What you aren't understanding is that it isn't a choice. Just like being gay isn't a choice. Because I CANNOT believe in that which there is no reason to believe, I cannot be held accountable. If in fact God DID exist, he wouldn't be as written in the Christian bible. It is your choice to live life in a lie, preparing for a second life that you have absolutely no reason to even believe exists...only what a book written, revised, translated, and re-translated, several times says.

@targetisfun I know all about the dead sea scrolls. You are clearly misinformed also...the scrolls don't match that of the KJV...it matches the old testament. In fact, every book of the old testament can be found in the scrolls except Esther. Also...we (humans) got here from evolution by natural selection. There is extensive evidence to support this. Religion may have an answer to everything...but an answer is only as good as the evidence that proves it.

@targetisfun I never said we got here by nothing. Surely we got here by SOMETHING. But that something doesn't have to be an intelligent designer. You can't say evidence in the bible. The bible says the earth is flat and that the earth is the center of our solar system, and that the human species is only 6500 years old...obviously those claims are incorrect. With radiometric dating, we have established that the oldest human fossil found is approximately 1.3 Million years old.

It is clearly possible because we inhabit one of billions of planets in the known universe. You may not think about it, but every star in the sky is a Sun just like our own. Well at least someone is trying to keep there relationship from ending. Sometimes the women has to do all the work and sacrifice,it's not always the man. Also,how do you know it might not work in real life? You don't know about all the people in this world. All your watching on the news in nothing but negativite. You hear about actors and actresses getting divorced non-stop. That's because there wasting time looking for the perfect guy or girl. There's no such thing as a perfect person.

Look at pamkue and see that it works. Divorce is the easy way out, but love is work. If you love someone it isn't just for "better," but also for, "WORSE" and if people can't handle "for worse" they shouldn't get married in the first place because it is so much deeper than a "easy way out" when it gets to be work.

I have seen this movie and it is beyond entertainment in and of itself. If every married couple and even engaged couples would watch this movie and take it to heart, the UNCONDITIONAL LOVE he slowly learns to show his wife, the divorce lawyers would be put out of business. There is so much trash out there that is destroying our families, but this movie carries such a powerful message. It is SO worth seeing and so AWESOME. Have a box of tissues nearby though--you WILL need them!!!

"Never leave your partner behind." The main character in this movie is a fire captain and he teaches his men to "never leave your partner behind" in a fire. He learns to apply this same principal to his own troubled marriage. "How far would you go...to keep a promise?" Traditional marriage vows are literally PROMISES a husband and wife make to one another, although many people don't take them seriously. : ( That's why the divorce rate is so high. However, we vow "for better or for worse."
