This is based on a 1987 Jap. movie, "Hachiko Monogartari", about Hachiko, an Akita, whose master died. He would meet him at the train station each day when he returned. After he died, the dog continued to meet the train each day at 5p and wait about 4 hrs. Hachiko died right on the same spot where he waited every day at the train station. There is a monument of him on the same spot.

in 2009, Richard Gere starred in an American remake, "Hatchi, A Dog's Story". It's sadder because it's true.

It looked at me with sad eyes. I called it, to take it outside for some air. It looked down and tuurned its back to me. It had been hurt. A hurt that no vet could fix. That movie you're talking about had Richard Gere as the star of the movie it was on the other day.  The dogs name was Aki I think. They erected a statue of him. I think that was Japan. The movie was made from true story. The dog belonged to the guy and followed him to the commuter train every day, and when the guy got off the train the dog and him went home. Guess that was for many years.

I remember when my dad had to shoot our dog..It was the Holiday and the Vet closed up. My dog started having some major problems and we couldn't get a hold of anyone. The one Vet we could get through to said that the Vet would have to euthanize her. So instead of making her wait 4 days until she would be euthanized, my dad took my brown boxer up above the house and shot her. It took him three tries before he could actually bring himself to do it. :c

THat man saw him on the road and took the little dog Hachi home. After a while he had to go to work but everytime the dog would follow him. In the end , the dog lived to about 15-20. The man had a daughter. THen the daughter got married. Finally the man died after that saddest of all. I cried watching that part.

Dogs are considered "man's best friend." They put all of their loyalty, love, and even their life for their owner. Then some owner treat them back by becomes selfish and stupid as hell and abandoning them for either they're lazy, insane, or just plainly the devil themselves.
