@CallebAntichrist Yea, going around and hitting things till numbers come out. Some "role-playing game" that is. You do not make the moves even, just a button to command your moves. Furthermore, the story makes absolutely no sense.

@1234yersiman So that you know, your comment was the first one to actually bug me so much that I just had to create an account for myself. And now to the point that I wanted to make. I know that there are a lot of role-playing games out there and that there are great differences between them but to me it seems that you are forgetting something quite important. The origin of role-playing games. Ever heard of D&D? Not the mmorpg but the pen and paper version from the 70s?

@mroutofthebagjohnson That was a proper role-playing game. Other games that come to mind are Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale., both for the pc. Now I know that this is just my own opinion but I do think that Final Fantasy VIII follows the traditions of role-playing games better than Elder Scrolls IV (yes I checked out your channel). As for the story of FF VIII I do have to admit that it isn't one of my favorites but if you actually stop for 5 minutes to follow the dialogue it starts making sense.

@mroutofthebagjohnson But even then, there was far more customization of your character, and more freedom with the choices you make. And the story was a lot less convoluted, and furthermore, this was the origin of the rpgs, yes. But what that has to do with 2011, I have no clue.

@1234yersiman There was that I agree but what bugged me was that after a while the freedom of choice didn't matter that much anymore. It doesn't really matter how you choose to play when all your stats and skills are pretty much maxed. That is the biggest problem with new rpg games. FF XIII for one example sucked. Additionally it was so easy I wanted to cry in shame. And I think that you can't escape history and that the "old style" rpg games are coming back. Dragon Age being a good example

@mroutofthebagjohnson We can only hope for the better. Personally, I love the elder scroll games, as the freedom and controls are the best. That is what you call a role playing game, since there, you can actually role play, and it feels more realistic. I hope Skyrim improves over oblivion...

il concept (parlando dei primi album almeno) è identificabilissimo nel power per scelte di doppiacassa, chitarra, voce.

Questo per quanto concerne i generi identificabili per stile musicale, per quanto riguarda le categorie create dai giornalisti mi limito a quotare chuck schuldiner "I hate categories, categories suck", mi spiace che il video non ti sia piaciuto, grazie comunque del commento :)

FF8 è e rimarrà uno dei ff più belli perchè è uno di quei capitoli della saga in cui vengono trasmesse più emozioni di tutti. Ne sono rimasto stregato da quando avevo 8 anni. Complimenti per il video inquadra perfettamente il lato più romantico di ff8. Grazie a nome di tutti i fan!
