That's unbelievable with the garbage. I hope the smell wasn't too much. I live in the Seattle area and back in December when we got two inches. It was crazy. Also, last week we got a few inches of snow. When it first started I was in class and when most people found out, they were all freaking out. It doesn't snow here every year (last year it didn't but the year before they got a storm), but I thought they'd have a contingency plan for just in cast. Also by the way, you rock!
Yeah, I heard about all the BS between the sanitation department and the mayor as they wanted stuff and didn't wanna work until the city gave them what they wanted and, yeah, people did die as a result of both the snow shit not being plowed and EMT's not being able to reach people that called 911.
FFS, if I wanna smell a bad city smell, I'll go anywhere in Jersey. NYC should not be turned Jersey-style scented.
Off topic but, are you ever going to try and join a comedy troupe again? I really really do feel like you can be successful at this and I want to see you getting more attention. At least experiment a bit with comedy on youtube, pretty please?
Not familiar with these problems but I like hearing about it from your perspective. I live in Texas and if there's ice on the road chances are it wasn't prepared properly for ice and YOU AIN'T GO'IN NO WHERE! It gets covered by the news all day long, like we don't know that ice is slippery and we should avoid it.
