Gamma= Testing phase in which staff members only test, before the game is going to enter alpha testing.

Alpha=Testing phase in which staff members and exclusive people (media, etc.) test the game before going into a beta phase.

Beta= Testing phase in which staff, and just about everyone participate. Some beta tests such as SC2 are closed, in which only invited people with beta keys enter.

This isnt really any phase, I'm sorry to say. Possibly gamma.

@josephpho Yes, armor breaks but you don't lose it forever, also the cost to repair it is cheap, not to worry about. You just need to remember after each mission to repair it or you will suffer more damage.

@HairyPaughter its source engine, this engine is very optimized and not computer hungry, game runs very fluid, if your computer can play counter strike source then you will be good with Vindictus. ;) Hope it does! good luck!

It's based on the Source engine, which doesn't need a really good computer to run it smoothly. Most Source games are optimized for all computers.

I'm sorry Vindictus but this game miss what a mmo needs. What you need is the easy mechanics WoW uses. No matter what people say everyone plays it. All new mmo's focus to much on fighting mecanic and make it into a hack'n'slash wich makes you have to push something all the time. MMO for me is social, I don't want to be busy all time, then I can't talk to others.

WoW is a pretty successfull game by its own standards but what you need to remember about this industry is that what's important is bringing something new to the plate, its not just about doing what other games did to be successful, its about giving the gaming community something entirely new, and vindictus certainly looks like it gives a very good interactive experience. Also you miss the point, an MMO, depending on the target genre, can focus more on social, action, storyline etc.

You can see that this blows them out the water. Yes, I have played all three of them. And think about it, this is only the beta, or whatever you wish to call it.
