This was produced by Joe mate, the same man that made Elton Jhon's, U2 and many great musicians greatest album, as a producer I can tell you, there is nothing trivial about it. It's a simple song, I'll give you that, but again, the production is amazing, the mix brilliant, the vocals are quality, the Bv's on the chorus great aswell, there are many things that make it decent enough. And yes, you are wasting time everytime you come in here.
