making a survival whistle from acorns

i used to do this all the time on acorns and its alot louder if you put both your thumbs on the acorn in a V shape covering the top and blowing in it

the whistle is the same principles as the bird or what ever calls done with the hand or with the tip of a pen cap you can do that or a straw. but thats pretty neat
