i had periodontal disease for about 5 years until i got a real job that had benefits. I had to do deep tissue scaling on my upper teeth. it sucked. I hate flossing, but i do it constantly, about 4 ti,kes a week. I know i should do more. All im saying is that maintenance is necessary to keep your mouth clean.

I used to brush once a day as a kid. For several years Ive been brushing and flossing twice a day. Now im going to brush and floss 3 times a day to prevent this from getting worse. I dont have gingitivis, but I notice that my teeth are weak and sensitive along the bottom at the gumline. I told my dentist about this 3 years ago (my last visit) and he said it was fine, just keep brushing. He should have at least informed me that I had the early stages of periodontal and then educated me on wh
@TheSupercow2008 lol once a day as a kid? when I was a kid I didnt brush my teeth so often and I certainly NEVER flossed until I was like....21 now im 24....I still dont floss everyday maybe once a week...and often I skip brushing in the morning....and do I have periodonal disease? nope....do I have gintivitus? I dont think so...if I had my dentist would most likely notice it...and I dont have any gum or teeth problems...
Yes i am agree with you.A good dentist is that which have complete knowledge about oral health. The one major thing we have to consider is that their work experience.
@Furrykid10 i went to this dentist, Raymond Hatland, he resides in chicago but give him a call and see if he could reference you some dentist near you, his staff is also very understanding and wont make you feel awkward or embarrassed. look him up on the web.
this is curable, i know! i was without insurance and i went to a hollistic dentist, it cost me about 1600 for him to remove the crap build up. no other surgery took place just a healthy way of brushing teeth and massaging gums. my gums where bloody red and getting loose and now they are pink and tightening. its curable, just want you to know but dont delay for 3 years like i did.
@Shipp715. If you don't get the calculus and bacteria out from under the gums the amoxicillin won't cure it. It will just come back after you finish the antibiotic.
If I have braces and floss once a daya t night after eating and I brush my teeth extra well esp at the gum line and I brush between the bracketds with a proxabrush nad toothpaste on it and rinse with a flouride rince every ngiht before bed will I be ok at preventing this?
when i had gum disease what i did was i just to the Vitamin E supplement capsule, cut off the end of the pill and squeezed out the oil and rubbed it onto the inflamed part of the gums, it helped significantly
@da1ved Sugary liquids are what messed up my teeth. Thankfully at the time I had dental insurance and could get them fixed. But now I have no dental coverage. So my only option is a christian non profit that offers free dental treatments. But they pretty much only offer treatments if your teeth are bad enough to require pulling.
Xylitol is a good alternative to sugar that wont mess up your teeth. It's actually good for your teeth. It kills bacteria.
i think i have that each time i get a teeth removed another theeth still hurt beside the one that has been removed tell me more and 5 star video good :)

@mcarpioTV I haven't used toothpaste since I started using baking soda, I'm not sure if adding toothpaste to the baking soda is better.
Watch the videos I posted in one of my previous posts, it has much more info, and maybe you can ask the same questions in those videos.

@mcarpioTV And STOP eating foods or drinks with sugar, like coke, candy, cakes, etc...
Drink 8 cups of water per day, during meals and in between meals.

@mcarpioTV Try brushing with baking soda every day after breakfast and supper.
Brush away from the gums, upper teeth brush downwards, lower teeth brush upwards, don't brush up and down or side to side.
May take 2 or 3 weeks before you notice any difference.
Baking soda won't cure tooth and gum disease, but it will slow down the decay.
Watch the 2 videos I posted in my previous comment, and any other videos you can find.

Spartan1991LA 1 year ago
@Spartan1991LA I've only been using baking soda for about 2 months
Before my gums used to be sore almost all day. and now they are rarely sore.
Also I have a small cavity that would ache at least once a week, but for the past 2 months it hasn't hurt at all.
Took about 2 weeks for my tooth and gum pain to stop.
This video is about baking soda: /watch?v=FEz62Hb5zfg
This guy tells you how to cure tooth and gum disease: /watch?v=5HWms5CvHZk
But do some more research yourself.
