Same old story. First "they" spread out VIRUS, and introduce and ANTIVIRUS "VIRUS" , at the expense of your wallet. Not only Mcafee, but also Norton and the rest their is. Business you know. No one will buy antivirus if there are no virus in the first place.

last week i had an update from mcafee and it was blocking my internet,when i removed mcafee with the removaltool i intantly had internet again!
reinstalled mcafee and it was blocking it again!!
deinstalled and i had internet again.
now i have vast 5 and my internet and pc are running fantastic
just a terrible program mcafee

The same crap happens with Norton, Trend Micro, and all the other household anti-virus bloatware.
One solution: Malwarebytes
