  • Best place in Australia for students wanting to focus on their study not social life

  • so expensive to study in UTAS

  • want to know something really special that the University of Tasmania and ASIO (aka the mickey mouse club) and the australian government dont want anyone to know.....go to "jenny morris she has to be loved nzoz1989" and press "see all" to find my 3 hidden comments.

  • I LOVE IT!

  • hey guyz im from sri lanka ,,, may i know is there are any way of finding a part time job for international students???

  • Oh wow, stop motion picture. Very clever, must' have taken thousands of photos.

  • oh, it looks amazing.

does anyone from out there study there arts? :)

  • video is awesome, which software did u use?

  • Looks great... but im born and grown up in Sydney... it would be too hard to adjust to the over-quiet atmosphere of Tassie.... so slow paced, does anything even happen down there..?! plus there's the cliche and myth of tassie's beeing inbreed! lol..! and i actually need a social life

  • @paddlepopkid Enjoy your $8 bottles of water and dubstep playing nightclubs in Sydney. If you really want to pay too much for a shallow and materialistic lifestyle why not go all the way and move to New York City? Nah I'm just kiddin. Sydney's alright when you're not trying too hard to be an American city :P

  • @SupermarketsRevil $8. where was this.? I actually went to tassie for 3 weeks... after 2 weeks, its boring and lonesome. and even if water was $8 which its not, at least in Sydney you can find work just like that. An american city..? Sydney is the most Australian City of any Australian City... the rest of you guys try and be "european" when people come to australia... they think of beaches, parks, the habour, and sydney architecture... and mansions overlooking the habour. Dubstep is old now.

  • @paddlepopkid "$8. where was this.?"--Some swanky rip off waterfront restaurant i went to for my brothers wedding reception.

"at least in Sydney you can find work just like that."--Depends what kind of work you're looking for. Living cost is significantly higher in Sydney than elswhere in Australia so there damn well better be more and better paying jobs.

Eh, when I think of Sydney I think of investment banks, opera, modern 'art' race wars, gang violence and yuppies

  • @SupermarketsRevil you so don't know what your on about, firstly who has their reception at darling habour or a beach-front restraunt..? a sydneysider would know to stay away, those places cater CEO's, Lawyers, Investors, and rich tourist from Japan & Germany. secondly, water wouldn't cost $8, they make their money from alchol and food, not water... its free anywhere, just ask for a jug and glasses. Sydney business's don't make money by being "pety", thats not the mentality that success has

  • @paddlepopkid "Know to stay away"? Why? It was his WEDDING! He wanted luxury and service and he was willing to pay for it. My water comment was clearly hyperbole, but that point was the significantly higher cost of living in Sydney compared to other Australian cities. The arrogance that comes with taking pride of paying for the most expensive things is something I object to. What kind of selfish person seeks to indulge in an exclusive lifestyle without regard for contributing to his community?

  • @paddlepopkid Sure, Sydney has some wonderful geography, architecture and the people probably arent to bad in the small middle class cross section that isnt either living in poverty and experiencing rampant crime or ridiculously wealthy and out of touch with reality. I wouldn't mind getting to know Sydney better one day, but I'm in no hurry to move away from Melbourne with so many cultural attractions and a diverse range of ethnicities that are reasonably harmonious.

  • if people wanted to visit a place that was "european" wouldn't they visit Europe.where they are "european" and if people wanted American, wouldn't they visit america. people who visit sydney from either europe or america, will tell you Sydney is Unlike any other city in the world.... its an alpha+ city for a reason.... Melbourne and the rest of australia are still suffering an identity crisis. like "oh melbourne is european.. and sydney is american" what?? they haven't even been to europe or US

  • @paddlepopkid The rest of the nation suffering an 'identity crisis', eh? Confirmation bias much? Both Melbourne and Sydney share many good and bad points. I actually like the Sydney landscape better, with the harbour and plentiful beach access. That said, Melbourne is significantly more accessible to real people who work for a living. You can actually afford to have a personal life in Melbourne AND live in a nice area. In Sydney it's one or ther other.

  • nice video! a good intro.
