  • Nice job!....landing on this road...I mean runway.

  • Ever tried going to north shore with this?

  • belo pousoo

  • i love it how much. 3, 2?

  • Wow. You can almost smell the adrenaline...

  • The Douglas DC-2 and the Boeing 247 are both early examples of radial/reciprocating engines that featured controllable pitch propellers capable of reverse thrust.

  • fly it in. two thumbs up.

  • wow, what a short runway, nice job man..

  • That was a very sweet little set down mattathm!

  • Are you sure about what your saying [omegaice8]? Small aircraft typically do not feature reverse thrust, except in specialized applications. Conversely, large aircraft (weighing more than 12,500 lb) almost always have the ability to reverse thrust. Both reciprocating engine and turboprop aircraft can have reverse thrust, and almost all propeller aircraft with reverse thrust have the ability to set the propeller angle to flat pitch (called Beta range) which generates no forward or reverse thrust.

  • Very nice :)

  • Fuck off looser go fly your A320 flightsim....

  • That couldn't be farther from the truth. The majority of turboprops, including the DHC Dash 8, have controllable pitch propellers that are capable of reversing thrust.

  • dhc dash 8?

  • @relativeair citation mustang, see title :p

  • @Rubdos I was replying to the comment above mine! I know this isn't a Dash 8 in the video I'm not that stupid! I never knew much about the Dash 8's and was questioning whether it was DHC or Bombardier but of course i now know the answer to my curiosity! cheers

  • Damn, NIce "Over the Tree Tops, Last-Second Nose Drop" to dive for the Runway, then Flare!

also, that's a really Narrow Runway Folks!

Lol little margin for any miscalculation or Sloppy Rudder/Centerline Technique. one foul up, and it's into the Rough at 90 Kts! Ouch!! Lol good job, whoever flew this Approach.

  • Has anyone thought about removing the TREES?? Mustangs rule!

  • And lengthening it? its only 680m (2230ft)

  • Wow. How did the FAA let you get your license?

  • Why you say that?

  • 1m either side of the main wheels, it was my mission to keep it straight!

  • runway looked barely wider than the main wheels. Mustang is the way forward!!! Love it!! post more vids

  • Nicely done, bit of a dirty dive at the end, never mind though..not a lot of intertia to worry about.

  • Yes I calculated V1 to get out otherwise I wouldnt have gone in and yes there is a dive at the end and if you listen to the video closely you will here the comment about hitting the trees just before the dive, That airfield has some stupidly high trees at the start of it, and I like to land at the start of the runway not 2/3rds down it to go thru the fence.

  • That is freaking intense!

  • Nice work cuz. That strip is skinny for my 182!

  • Thats the typ of flying you do in flight simulator not Im real life!!! great job A++++

  • Looks like you came in a little HOT. Not good for such a short runway. What is the normal landing speed for the Mustang?

    Great video BTW!

  • Dont judge a book by its cover, Vref was 88kts, the strip is only 680m !!!

  • Oh, but the Mustang needs 725m to land!?!

  • really, what performance graphs are you using? Flap less with no anti skid and eng anti on in Fiji 35°c with 970 millibars?

  • Ps, if it uses 725 to land whay havent I gone thru the fence?

  • I don't know. Just go to Cessna's official website and you will understand what I'm talking about.

  • Ahh ok , yeah, cheers.......

  • Awesome! That strip looks 10 feet wide!

  • that´s such a small runway.... dannng

  • man u are one lucky ass to be flying a Mustang :D
