I think US can forget about all this stuff now... So much money and lives on Iraq. And now Russia is getting feisty. And what does US say?: "Ahhh... we don't like what you're doing.." nothing more. US has used up their chits. No one in the rest of the world gives a damn what US says. Bush took care of that.
Russia is not getting feisty the US is. The US is trying to start a war with anyone they can before the election so they can suspend it and the republicans can stay in power and avod prison.
US corporation are no international. Many moved their headquarters out too. They are multinational which means they no longer hold allegience to US as it was in 80'.
Smedley Butler was going to become a general in the USMC. But, he was too honest and never made it.
In 1934, Butler was the whistle blower on a fascist plot by super-rich industrialists who were attempting to overthrow President Roosevelt thru taking over the military. (So he was kicked-out of the marines).
What happened to the people who attempted the take-over? They went to Germany and took it over with Hitler. Made fortunes, like the Bush family got theirs then, too.
