I find this to be the hardest boss simply because its hard to level up after level 26? or so without spending hrs on end... Once you have the soulstone you can go to windy hill or wind rolling something and mass kill MKS for serious exp...

I've beaten Empyrea completely without my monster team and it was freaking easy. I don't know why most people say Empyrea is the most difficult boss. Rhapthorne is far more difficult.

belive or not, i beat dhoulmagus 2nd from in one turn without cheating! And I was level 21!!!(Just use psyche up moster team and you'll get your whole party to 100 tension) (2turns monster 1 turn human)

i needed lvl 35 for empyrea with liquid metal armors. but, i used magic to defeat her, since she was more vulnerable to them than my normal attacks.

I already did the quest, to get the command it required you to win up to rank E in the monster arena. However it doesn't matter anymore I beat the beat about 5 days ago.

My strategy in this battle is to have Hero equipped with Blizzard Blade(Bastard Sword + Icicle Dirk + Cold Cheese) and have him and Yangus attack her, while Jessica use Oomph on Hero and perhaps Yangus and let Angelo casts Multiheal. Just make sure you must bring 1 or 2 Yggdrasil Leaves just in case Hero or Angelo dies in battle.

i JUST beat her....she had less HP than i thought and it WAS A CLOSE one. Hero and Angelo were out of magic and EVERYBODY's HP was BELOW 20 O.o talk about lucky :)

I am up to this part of the game now. I just cant beat Empyrea. Does anyone of you know any good strategies I could use? My hero is a sword user, Yangus is an axe user, Jessica is a whip user and Angelo is a bow user. My hero is level 35.

If you have Hatchet Man or Executioner with Yangus then that could be a godsend as both moves result in critical hits which ignore Empyrea's really high defence.

Empyrea has great offense!!! Your defense must be up and be prepared to heal. Also your offense needs to be strong as well. good luck!

Does Your Angelo know omniheal yet? When i fought her, i had Angelo accelerated to the top and had jessca cast oomph to yangus and hero. You can alternate with switching back and forth psyching hero and yangus, but i reccomend yangus because you need hero to heal a little just incase angelo dies. Carry lots of healing items, just in case. But pretty much all you have to do is teach Angelo Omni heal or have him multi heal every turn.

I'm up to level 29 to 32... i beat Dhoulmagus at level 25 O.o and i beat Cap'n crow at Jessica 29 and the rest just over 30

Now i'm up to Empyrea i don't get it, i thought she was good! lol

But that team, you should have a Stronger team by now. i have Brontes and Gigantes Ganster, (2 of those blue cyclops thing in other words) and i have Talos. With 2 Cycops thing, they make a DEATH MOVE! its wicked! they attack right and its 2 hits in one turn

Where is the arch you have to go to to find her? I cannot for the life of me figure out where it is. Is it the one west of Dark whatever the name of the town is? I was told its southwes but.... nothing there.

You're in the Dark World right? She appears when you approach the arch where you first started chasing her in the world of light, which I think is South east of Empycchu

Oh my, your party is much different from mine. I actually have decent defense and hp for Jessica thanks to alot of seeds/her surviving more than Angelo. I've also raised her as a Fisticuffs fighter (she's level 80 in that) since it gives her increased Agility and the Thin Air ability (clears whole mobs of enemies for only 2 mp, depending on how she psyches). What is making this battle very difficult is how poorly Angelo survives.

You follow the Godbird long enough for her to lead to you a portal, which you then go through.

It's a Scythe, the Bardiche of Binding, you get it by beating rank B of the Monster Arena.

As for training, anywhere with metal slimes is good, or you could just train in the Dark World near the town.

If you're having trouble just level up some more. Boomerangs are probably the worst possible skill for Hero to be putting skill points in btw, not like you can do anything about it now.

Empyrea will fly you to the Godbird's Eyrie in the Dark World, and just go up the Eyrie and beat the boss at the end. After that you'll be able to leave the World of Darkness.
