where do you get your stats from? According to Statistics Canada, we already have enough food to feed not 6 billion people but 10 billion people. It is the distribution of food that cuzs many to go hungry in our world. Also, livestocks eat a lot of feeds. If we directly eat those plants we can feed 10 times more ppl. As the tropic level states that approx. 10% of energy is past to the next level in the food chanin ... generally.

Yes, I am not a farmer. I get the idea you are and feel your job is at risk. I also don't think humans will completely stop eating meat but that North Americans and Europians should eat A LOT less meat than they are. Studies have shown that it is beneficial to their own health to do so.

Thank you for the biofuel information, but I actually think it is stupid the way people are using corn for biofuel.

It takes MORE energy to harvest, refine, and transport the biofuel than the energy it gives. The current process doesn't help the situation but makes it worst.

There are current R&D that harvests algae (a pollutant) for biofuel, why not go that route?

We have over 600 factory farms in New York State and they are polluting our waterways and poisoning their neighbors. The NY DEC refuses to acknowledge the horror. If you could see the disgusting filth on some of those farms you would never drink another glass of milk! Milk is NOT what's good for you- not any more. Youcant dispose of manure on land that doesent need it thatis why most ofthese chicken farms compost it then sell it or haul it to a grain farmer that has no animals and is maure deficient then he doesnt need as much man made fertilizer. I have a friend that grows corn and doesnt even buy fertilizer he uses chicken manure and cover crops and he has the healthist crop by far in his valley with natural fertilizer.

I think we speak the loudest with our purchases.... if we stop buying meat (because it truly is unhealthy) aren't we sending a strong message ? I know it's difficult to change the minds of the brainwashed population, however non-compliance, especially on mass will certainly send you to a FEMA campdetention centre.... and no doubt get you vaccinated for something that's going around.
