Yeah, as someone already pointed out, you´re flat on the choruses, but that´s not the worry one should pay attention to...it´s the way you try hitting those notes, that is the main problem. Your way of accessing your head ´voice is by pushing your vocal chords the wrong way, as you are way to tense. The way to access those high notes is not by struggle and pushing. You have a nice voice, but take some time, watching free vocal lessons, and you´ll increase your range amazingly. and warm up.. =)

Dude, you got a really nice tone in your voice. I can tell it was gettin' a little high for ya towards the end. It's an insanely difficult song to sing. I'd just lower it about a half step, that way you don't have to strain on the highest notes. Good job, though!

dude...first off...props to you for a decent cover... now for my critique... you vocal power is impressive, your range is better than average, your tone, clarity and pronunciation is spot on...you just need to learn when to really go for it, if you cant do it, then u cant do it. My only bit of critique is, towards the beginning - it seems like you slurred the lyrics a little? I'm not sure if I'm hearing things or if you made a mistake, or what, but it was still a very solid cover. Good job. :)

If you listen to original artists perform their own songs they slur and get sloppy with their words. Their finished product is so dressed up its ridiculous. If you can get a clip where the artist is in the booth and all you can hear is their voice it doesn't sound anything like the finished product. But yeah he is forcing it here from time to time, bring it back a little and let your diaphragm drive the sound out naturally.

a. its live, everyone is off in live performances. With that so is Brent, less but he's also in the band, its about tonality.
