  • @ironcross66106 I cannot say what this priest was saying was true but i cannot also say it is false. If a man is without conscience of Christ, and yet is devout in doing all he can, would he be sent to hell? that is what the priest is under the assumption. You cannot assume that all jewish people know or even heard of Christ.

  • Yes I agree well said.

In saying what he did, he left no doubt this man is NOT a Christian at all.

    How can I say this?

He is denying the very word of the Living God he claims, to believe in.

Do you know what the word of God actually say's,

Jesus said "I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

This man is a liar, a deceiver, and a false teacher.

For proof of this read Romans 10:9-10 and John 3:16-17

  • @ironcross66106 that meant baptism into the Christian faith not born again to be born again from another Christian sect.

  • @migtheazn

I'm sorry I completely missed what you are trying to say here.

  • John 14:6

King James Version (KJV) verse 6 .Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

This so called priest, called Jesus a lie in this video, you decide.

  • As a catholic I denounce what this priest is saying. Islam is a force of the Devil that, unlike Judaism, was never part of God's covenant and leads people away from Christ.

  • At least the catholics can drink and you know," give ya a chance."

  • Silly Rabbi; only kix eats trids.

  • i think i actually found a christian whos not that ignorant. this is one hell of a day lol

  • Father Micheal Manning says, "What about those people who've never heard of Jesus?" Hell is not full of folks who never heard about Jesus. People end up in Hell b/c of their sin. Sin is what keeps people from eternal life with Jesus. Every person on the planet has been given a conscience. That's God's "knower" that He's planted on the inside of all of us. The exclusivity of Christ applies to all of mankind. We must repent and trust in Christ to forgive us of all our sin by His grace alone!

  • Christ is the only way to heaven, and the Lord will reject those who reject Him.

  • Islam is beautiful ? Peaceful? shove it.

  • @LifeisBeautiful746 what? this priest is an idiot.. not a clue, I got it, send all of those priest who were playing with all those little boys to Iran...LOL see what those nice sweet Islam buddies will do to them...

  • He who lives apart from the law shall be judged apart from the law ! and since all men are born in sin .....

" as a catholic I need to learn from that " ? ! sums up priests and popes for me . They should learn from Bible which is plain black and white ; not the grey so many try to make of it

  • I agree with the guy on the ABC's of Catholicism guy below. This guy does not speak for the Catholic Church. So many non Catholics don't understand there is a war within the Catholic Church for orthodoxy. Vatican II addressed other world religions and used the language of St. PauL in Romans 2:14-16 where Paul says the Gentiles' consciences and conflicting thoughts will accuse or "perhaps" excuse them. Then Catholics went nuts and said let's all sing Cumbauya with everyone. True there are certai

  • Jesus said i am the truth the life and the way NO MAN COMETH UNTO THE FATHER BUT BY ME!!!!!!!!!!!!either u have jesus or u go to hell

  • he is not catholic .. with out Jesus Christ no salvation .. that is the catholic ABCs and the 123s .. are you for real .. you deny Jesus Christ and you have salvation .. are you on drugs

  • Oh dear... folks.... we need to pray for this man. Jesus clearly says to us in the Holy Scriptures..."I am the way, the truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father but by me." and..also "He who has the Son has life. He who has not the Son has not life." (speaking of eternal life...heaven) and also we read in Romans.."If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved." Guys we MUST start sharing our Faith from God's Word!

  • @carolLDickinson but what about kids in Africa who have not been able to know about Jesus Christ. Are they all going to hell because they dont know about Jesus? Or kids that follow their parents religion which is Islam, are they all doomed to hell for obeying their parents? Jesus founded his own church (Mt 16, 18) and i want to be apart of that church which was later given the name, Catholic, which means Universal.

  • @eronsalazar Yes! There are plenty of people who Explicitly call themselves Christians, but do not Implicitly confess Christ as their lord and savior in their hearts (i.e., Adolf Hitler). Just as there are people who Implicitly confess Christ as their lord and savior, but do not know him to be the image that the world/man presents him as (i.e., Mahatma Gandhi). The first goes to hell and many of them are currently in church. The latter goes to Heaven, because God is all knowing.

  • who is this priest????!!! to claim effusively for Islam is ludicrous. Islam was founded by demonic forces

  • I guess John 14:6 is torn out of the Roman Catholic Bible.

  • This liberal priest has not done a good job of expressing the Catholic position. The Catechism of the Catholic Church directly states that faith in Jesus Christ is absolutely necessary for salvation (CCC 161, et al).

As a Catholic, I would just add that if you do not have that faith in Christ on Earth, you WILL definitely need and ultimately obtain it (as well as become a Catholic) IF you get to heaven.

There was also no need to praise Islam, which is a false religion and leads people astray.

  • he is touched by praying 5 times a day? he is touched by legalist mechanical piety.

is he representative of catholicism? I hope not for he is grossly ignorant of the bible. Muhammad is a false prophet for he denies that Jesus is God.

as fo doing ones best, look at the Law of God. NOONE keeps the Law. It is IMPOSSIBLE. this to exclude human effort.

as or salvation by christ alone every carnal christians rejects it, by his life if not his words. so why point the finger at catholics

  • Amen!@Strefanasha

  • This truly just made me sick! What are they doing!!!! -_- spitting on the finished work of the cross! Jesus is God in the flesh who died for our sins rose again and gave us eternal life through the shedding of his blood! There is NO other way! My dear goodness! :'(

  • @believerinchrist83 As Catholics we believe that people who did not know Jesus through no fault of their own can be saved still because of God's grace. This is called invincible ignorance, as long as the person did the best he/she knew in his conscience. He is still saved through Christ anyway, so don't be sad. :)

We "spit" on what Christ did for us with our sins, for sure, not because we never had a chance of knowing his revelation. I understand the misunderstanding.

  • @cuantumk Romans 1:18-32 completely contradicts what you just said. Either you're wrong or the Bible is. John 14:6 also contradicts what you say. So does Acts 4:12.

How can a person repent of their sins and believe with out Christ? Answer: They can't.

I in no way mean to be offensive, but only to proclaim the truth of the Word of God. But at the same time Romans 3:12 is offensive so don't find what I say offensive, but the Gospel offensive, and then repent and believe in Christ and Him only.

  • @Superbee4401 This teaching is consistent with Jesus’ own teaching about those who innocently reject him: "If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin" (Jn 15:22).

But once a person comes to know the truth, he must embrace it or he will be culpable of rejecting it. We see this in Jesus’ words to the Pharisees: "If you were blind, you would have no guilt; but now that you say, ‘We see,’ your guilt remains" (Jn 9:41).

Christ came to save us all.

  • @cuantumk Amen brother

  • @Superbee4401 Amen.. the bible doesn't say some have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God...but it says all have sinned

therefore all must repent and believe

  • @cuantumk the trouble is no one lives faithfully even by his own conscience. even by this standard all are lost. so invincible ignorance is a theological artifact, not the truth

  • @Strefanasha No one lives faithfully? There are many people who live faithfully each on their own religion, people of all kinds can live faithfully to their beliefs, but that doesn't necessarily mean they're perfect. Not all of us Christians are going to heaven either.

God won't hold someone responsible for his law if he was never fully revealed to them, to do that would be to condemn them and leave them without any choice. It would violate free will. That is not a merciful God...

  • Blasphemy, Worshipping satan and demons and self is not something that makes God happy.

  • Catholics turn the YAH into three...

  • As with most of catholic teachings, this is rubbish!

Acts4:12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

  • Catholic teaching?

  • catholics are not true christians, they idol worship, pray to dead saints and by what this man says proves my view even more repent

  • @laysea65 Catholics do not worship idols. Who taught you this?

  • @cburton103 "For to be right and good, worship of the Mother of God ought to spring from the heart; acts of the body have here neither utility nor value if the acts of the soul have no part in them" ENCYCLICAL OF POPE PIUS X ON THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION Given at Rome in St. Peter's on the second day of February, 1904, in the first year of Our Pontificate.

  • @kiwichristian2009 As you see, your quote is from 1904. Since English isn't a dead language, the meanings of words can and often do change slightly through the years. Such is the case with the word "worship". Today, when we use the word worship we most likely are referring to latria, the adoration and worship due to God alone.

The honor due to Mary is known as hyperdulia, which would be more accurately described as "honor" in modern English.

    For more, read:

    newadvent. org/cathen/15710a. htm

  • @cburton103 the catholic cult prides itself that it has not changed. IT has changed the meaning of "worship". The Catechism of the Council of Trent states these words: "It is lawful to have images in the Church, and to give honor and worship unto them...".

  • @kiwichristian2009 The Catholic Church does not claim that it hasn't changed in any way. Anyone who claims that is simply wrong. Language and practice has obviously developed over the years, so we must use the words that convey the right message, regardless of what words those are.

What the Catholic Church does claim is that it has not and cannot ever contradict an official teaching of the Church on a matter of faith and morals. This includes doctrine such as the Resurrection, Virgin Birth, etc

  • @laysea65 Amen!

  • The catholic faith makes perfect sense

  • This priest is not a catholic but a heretic. Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, Constitution 1, 1215, ex cathedra: “There is indeed one universal Church of the faithful, outside of which nobody at all is saved, in which Jesus Christ is both priest and sacrifice"

  • @bf7045 The Catholic Church allows that there are people who may be a part of the universal Church without explicit knowledge, as this priest says. Therefore, by being part of the body of Christ, the Church, he would be saved without formally being Catholic.

  • @cburton103 : This reminds me of an old story. A missionary lifting high the crss in front of the gathered Inuit people, told them repeatedly if they did not accept Jesus as their savior, they would all go to eternal hell. One of the elders took his pipe out of his mouth, Father he said; You mean all our encestors are in hell. Oh, NO, was the reply, they didn`t know about Jesus Christ.. The Inuit again :So father, why did you tell us.

  • @ndzoko Your story demonstrates a lacking knowledge of what Catholics mean in this context. It is always better to share Christ with someone, because they have a much better chance of following their conscience if they form it properly within the confines of what the Church teaches.

In the case of your story, it's possible that some of the Inuit's ancestors went to heaven, but we can have no way to know who goes to heaven or hell. Our job on earth is to do our part in bringing others to heaven.

  • @cburton103 Would you mind answering a couple simple questions? Are all the good people from the generations before christ in hell or in heaven ? If they are in heaven, why did we need salvation and they didn`t ?

  • @ndzoko That question can only be answered by God, sorry. It would be answered on an individual basis, based upon whether or not that individual tried his best to follow the voice of God in his life. Clearly, this is going to be very individualized, so I'm sure you'll understand why I can't give you a blanket answer. Also, those that died before Christ that are in heaven are still saved by Christ's sacrifice on the cross. These individuals would have been in Abraham's Bosom until Christ's death.

  • @cburton103 These individuals would have been in Abraham's Bosom until Christ's death. So, now we have another of those divine cellars, called Abrahams bosom." Hell, limbo, purgatory, abrahams bosoms. Are there more divine dungeons ? So those pour good fellows from the generations before christ, who didn`t deserve hell, were waiting and waiting for thousands of years untill god send his son the earth to die. I must admit this is good fiction . What is the use of abrahams bosom today ?

  • @ndzoko Limbo was a state proposed by Catholic theologians, but it is in no way a belief binding on the faithful. Abraham's Bosom no longer exists today, because it was only a holding state for the righteous who died before Christ's death on the cross, after which the gates to Heaven were once again opened. Also, the concept of time to souls is entirely different than our concept of time as embodied souls, so your idea that they were "waiting and waiting for thousands of years" is inaccurate.

  • @cburton103 Do you really believe all this BULLS... ?? I just can`t figure educated people in the 21th century with ideas of the Stone-Age.

  • @ndzoko The ideas are not of the stone age, they're eternal. And I do believe all of this.

I believe that my faith is built upon a reasonable foundation. Firstly, I believe the fact that the universe had a beginning (which is the most sound deduction from current scientific data) leads one to believe in God - an eternal being who created all that exists. Also, I believe that an honest look at history leads one to the reasonable belief that Jesus walked this earth and is who he claimed to be.

  • @cburton103 May I remind you that Jesus was a Jew, That he came to fulfill THEIR prophecy, in their holy book. That the jews, like they did with other imposters, decided that he did not fulfill the prophecy. Saying thay he did, is claiming all those jews were all zombies. They were and are still very versed in scriptures. Look up what the jews say about Jesus. He DID NOT FULFIIL THEIR PROPHECY. Period. One question, how many rose from the death that Sunday morning ?

  • @ndzoko However, many Jews did recognize Jesus as the Messiah. Whether or not individual Jews recognize truth is irrelevant ultimately. Go to scripturecatholic . com and click on the "Messianic Prophecies" link under "The Trinity" on the left hand side.

I don't know how many were raised from the dead on Easter Sunday. The bible tells us it was "many". Also, early Christian tradition has it that these people who rose from the dead were assumed into heaven. Why are you curious about a number?

  • @cburton103 Why are you curious about a number? You see sir/lady. the resurrection fo 12,000 people never happened, And if that didn`t happen Jesus resurrection most probably didn`t happen either. Why didn`t it happen. There are many reasons. The first one is, that such a earth shattering event was only reported in one gospel. They found it worth describing how a curtain was torn in half, but they omitted to report the resurrection of 12,000. Why? Because it didn`t happen. CONTINUED.

  • @ndzoko CONTINUED.. Secondly: Imagine such an event happening today. It would be in all newspapers on all T.V. They would be numerous books written about the stories of the risen about heaven, hell, the angels, demons. About how they spend time in heaven, How they came down and resurrected, What their plans are, to return or not. BUT NOT A SINGLE REPORT. Not a single detail. NOTHING.Not in jewish history, not in Roman history. This, my friend is PURE FANTASY, and so is the Jesus resurrection

  • @ndzoko CONTINUED; Moreover, Think. If this happened to day, seeing all your buddies, the members of your family, your ancestors, rise. WHO IN THIS WORLD WOULD DOUBT THAT JESUS IS THE MESSIAH ? Nobody. But there were no mass conversions The jews still maintain he is not the messiah, inspite of having witnessed(supposedly) all their people rise from the dead.. Why?. Because it didn`t happen.

  • @ndzoko You bring up a valid point. If indeed we are to understand this as saints rising from the dead in the same bodies as they had before and they would be able to be recognized by people, then it would seem odd that there are not more records than just in Matthew's gospel. However, I'm not convinced that this is the way this verse is to be understood.

  • @cburton103 You see, in all of my years in the Church, her teaching has been consistent with all that I see. One example where there seems to be something strange going on that seems like it's possible that the idea/event in the Bible is untrue has consistently been the result of my personal faulty understanding. This has been true time and time again. I will continue to look for a better answer, but in the meantime I rest assured in the Bible's inerrancy. God bless.

  • @cburton103 but in the meantime I rest assured in the Bible's inerrancy. >>> Oh, I am sure you will find some impossible explanation for the resurrection of the 12,000( even if the text is as clear as can be.) so that you don`t have to explain the absence fot this amazing story in three gospels and in contemporary history. As for the inerrancy of the bible is concerned. I defy you to show me one single irrefutable piece of evidence for the salvation story. Thank you.

  • @cburton103 How can it be misunderstood, when it gives the following details>>>>>>The tombs broke open and the BODIES of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people. >>>> How can you understand it differently ? Besides Flavius Josephus gives a rather detailed history of that time, but not a word about these 12,000 resurrections. See also non-canonical manyscripts .

  • @ndzoko The reason it could be misunderstood is because Christians believe in the Resurrection. For instance, when Jesus rose from the dead even his own apostles did not recognize him because he was present in his resurrected body. I explain this to you to show that people would not necessarily recognize the risen holy people. There are numerous facets of the story and history that would allow for the absence of records on this event.

  • @ndzoko To be honest though, I understand your skepticism. It would seem that an event such as this would have been reported elsewhere as well. Right now, I'm unsure of why there aren't other records of this. It's possible that the records were lost for some reason, that we're not understanding this event correctly, or that the event simply did not happen.

Being that the event happened 2,000 years ago, I tend to be lenient on what kind of historical proof I deem necessary, but I'm no historian.

  • @bf7045 outside of which nobody at all is saved; I smell fanaticism. We are right, all the rest is wrong.

  • What was the name of the pope who died between the legs of his mistress ?

  • That is not the catholic position that is the Vatican II church position. The catholic faith says that the Jesus Christ, the catholic faith water baptism and the other sacraments are necessary for salvation and with out any of theses you are not going to heaven. All the catholic saints all said that only a few shall be saved

  • @bf7045 and with out any of theses you are not going to heaven.>> Do you still believe in these kindergarten fairy tales of heaven and hell, angels and demons. Get an education !!

  • @ndzoko It is you that needs to be educated, one day you will discover that these catholic beliefs are more than just kindergarten fairy tales

  • @bf7045 Hopefully, one day you will start using your brain. A religion which makes no sense (even scriptures admit this) cannot be right.

  • Question what happens if your a good person, do things to help others, gives charity, forgives, all these other good deeds, but does not not even the slightest bit about Jesus or God as a matter of fact. He knows nothing at all? There is a difference between not knowing and also knowing but not accepting just keep that in mind when you answer.

  • @migtheazn.. friend..there is no good deeds that will save anyone..salvation is purely based on a person trusting Christ and accepting his atonement for sin. Now the question regarding iF someone had never heard of Christ..they are probably given the chance..as in 1 peter 4:6..for this cause was the gospel WAS preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit..which is also = to 1 peter 3:18-19

  • @07braves faith and works have to be made to be saved. What good is faith if there are no works? Its like saying if I had stolen and later on had felt guilty about it, i wouldnt just say oh well at least Christ has forgiven me, no obviously you would return what you stole and ask also for forgiveness both from your father and your brother. Matthew 25 35-40. also read on Matthew 15-20.

  • @migtheazn the works are the evidence you are saved...the FRUIT you might say..the works itself does not save you. " Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God?..Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that you believe on him whom he has sent" john 6:28,29.

  • @07braves that content means the whole of what Jesus is doing. Show me your faith and i will show you my faith with works. Jesus does not want you to be just covered by his grace but to be transformed by his grace. Plus Jesus only made one Apostolic Church where Peter was given the keys of heaven by Jesus himself, so then why are there so many denominations in Christianity after the protestant reformation?

  • @migtheazn ...YES..there is only 1 church..it is the born again church..found all over the world, found in denominations of mans' creation. The 1st true church in its origin is ...THE JEWISH CHURCH..that came out from Jerusalem...NOT the RCC.

  • @07braves Amen!! Very well said!!

  • @07braves sir, you did not answer to why there were so many denominations after the Protestant Reformation. Secondly I said Apostolic Church, Sure the Jewish and Christians first started being one, but it soon came to be realized that The Jewish Community and Christian Community were separated by what they defined as their doctrines. Thus Christians and Jewish Community had to be segregated.

  • @migtheazn .yes i did give you an answer of the many protestant churches and you must admit there is diivision also in the catholic church as well..alot of catholics dont adhere to the church in its changes since vatican 2. ..that aside..again..the answer for the protestant churches is because they are MAN MADE DENOMINATIONS..yet most of these denominations adhere to the truth of the gospel of Christ in its truest form.."YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN".

  • @07braves It is not a lot, but a few that do not adhere or should i say protest against it, those are the more traditional Catholics. Most Catholics have accepted Vatican 2 and also Vatican has announced that if they want a more traditional mass then they are able to do that as well. Vatican 2 made a lot of good changes. Concerning with "man made" Denominations. The RCC is not man made, because Jesus himself established it. Matthew 16-19.

  • @07braves Also anyone who persecutes the Church that Jesus himself built, is also persecuting Jesus. Acts 26 14-16.

  • @migtheazn i agree...that is why the papacy..the RCC is the anti-christ system because it was burning people for reading the bible, printing the Bible, owning a Bible. Jesus did not say to kill anyone but there was that RCC setting in the seat of the dragon (the satan used pagan roman empire) in which gave him his seat, power and authority..just as God said he would..only 1 empire sat in pagan romes seat , and that is the PAPACY...and she (the RCC) killed more christians than pagan rome did.

  • @07braves I have no current knowledge of that, i have a bible, i read it, i havent been persecuted by the RCC. If it was burning people maybe it was because that was the protestant bible, where changes were made by Martin Luther, thus creating heresy among Christianity. This would probably be reasonable in those times because creating heresy (using a different bible, reading from it, and owning it would be atrocious and is seperating not uniting Christians).

  • @migtheazn ...of your response of people being burned by the RCC...that is historical! In the dark ages up through the reformation..many protestants were burned and slaughtered by the RCC. Check the story of Willian Tyndale for just 1 story of many..check the inquisitions, crusades etc...in fact..i believe it was the 4th crusade..the RCC slaughtered the eastern orthodox church as well...let alone protestants and jews and muslims....remember Christ NEVER said to convert or DIE unto anyone.

  • @07braves yes i know much of the dark ages and through reformation. But if you can see it in their point of view, protestants were in a sense heretics of that age. Christian unity was to be upheld even if Corruption was going on in the RCC, though a counter reformation within the RCC was made years after the protestant reformation , yet the protestants remain protestant. Concerning about the crusade and inquisitions. It was not made by the RCC itself but by the nations that ruled them.

  • @07braves Inquisiton was made by the Spanish rulers of that time. and The Crusades was lead by Christian Kings not by the Church Itself. The Church only responded when the Eastern Orthodox Church was in need of help against the Muslims. The Pope from the the Eastern Orthodox asked for help from the Pope of the RCC. The Pope did not say to kill other Christians or jews of that sort. They said to protect Jerusalem from the Muslims. Anything else was greed or lunacy from Christian kings.

  • @07braves The Roman Catholic Church also has its lineage past down from the current Pope now to Peter The Apostle. They have maintained that line and there is not one church that refutes it.

  • @migtheazn where was Peter apointed to preach the gospel?...the CIRCUMCISED ..the JEWISH..thus the church he (Peter) helped establish was the JEWISH CHURCH. Peters' 1st church was the Jewish church. Now saying that , the jewish church didnt break away from being the true church..because most of the apostles were jewish...the RCC broke away and fell into apostacy mixing paganism and the truth...truth with error..and Constantine brought the church and state together, pagans into christianity.

  • @07braves Acts 26 12-23 The apostles were jewish but Jewish people didnt want gentiles in their community therefore christians had to be ousted out fomr the synagogues. Jesus did not just want the jewish people to be saved, but the gentiles as well. And sir, if you what you say is true then you yourself cannot be able to be saved, because your ancestors themselves would've had to be married by a jew, and be only married to jewish people. that and the fact that you have to be also circumcised.

  • @migtheazn ..im sorry..maybe you dont understand what i am saying..of which the Bible stated. the 1st church..was and is JEWISH. the followers of God that carried the very oracles of God of the old testament were GODs' people ..ISRAEL...Not just the race but of the spirit. Israel..the TRUE church is NOT the jew of race but of the HEART (spirit...born again)..this is why Paul said of the true JEW..circumcised of the heart...cont..

  • @07braves The RCC still has Jewish traditions mixed in with Christian traditions, we still celebrate passover, and also Christ's Crucifixtion. The Jewish people, well for some, did not accept Christ as their Messiah, That is why it was split.

  • @migtheazn ..part 2..the old testament believers are also the church...just not in the sense we use church today. When people say church today..they think of an organization, a building etc..but the true church of Christ is SPIRITUAL...the BORN AGAIN of the spirit...under no denomination or name such as the roman catholic church. There are many born again christians in many denominations...Is it the RCC or a denomination that saves a person??...NO..You are saved by CHRIST and ONLY CHRIST.

  • @07braves Yes we are born again of spirit and to live as like Christ does and for a good 14-15 centuries it had been that way (excluding the great schism), there was only one Church the RCC. The Roman in RCC was only made to distinguish itself from other denominations that had sprung up from the protestant reformation. Catholic means "universal" in greek. Thus before any seperation it was one Catholic (Universal Church).

  • @migtheazn ..friend...do you not see what the bible is stating? the whore dresses in scarlot and purple, sets on 7 hills, has a gold cup in her hand, she rides the ROMAN BEAST, the 4th beast of daniel (10 horns etc.)..the little horn is the smallest kingdom in the world...what might that be? The little horn would rise up on the RUINS OF PAGAN ROME..who did that?..literally sat in the seat of the caesars...the pontifex maximus/ the roman pontiff. who has that title today?..the POPE!

  • @07braves sir, you have misinterpreted that whole passage. Firstly the whore dresses in scarlot and purple, you are taking it literally where priests wear purple and red for liturgical reasons, but in fact the priests dominant colour is white. Even the Pope wears white. Purple and red are symbolized as royalty and repentance for purple and the blood of Christ and Christian martyrs for red.

  • @07braves part 2. It is appropriate for Catholic clerics to wear purple and scarlet, if for no other reason because they have been liturgical colors of the true religion since ancient Israel. God commanded that scarlet yarn and wool be used in liturgical ceremonies (Lev. 14:4, 6, 49–52; Num. 19:6), and that God commanded that thepriests’ vestments be made with purple and scarlet yarn (Ex. 28:4–8, 15, 33, 39:1–8, 24, 29).

  • @07braves Part 3. sets on 7 hills, the greek word in this passage is horos, which could be hill or mountain, and most of the time in the new testament it has been mountain. The number seven may be symbolic also, for it often represents completeness in the Bible. If so, the seven mountains might signify that the Whore reigns over all earth’s kingdoms. Even it is Rome, there were other cities built on seven hills. Other cities are known for having been built on seven hills as well.

  • @07braves Part 4. Even if we grant that the reference is to Rome, which Rome are we talking about—pagan Rome or Christian Rome? Now bring in the distinction between Rome and Vatican City—the city where the Catholic Church is headquartered Vatican City is not built on seven hills, but only one: Vatican Hill, which is not one of the seven upon which ancient Rome was built. Those hills are on the east side of the Tiber river; Vatican Hill is on the west.

  • @07braves The phrase "Babylon the great" (Greek: Babulon a megala) occurs five times in Revelation (14:8, 16:19, 17:5, 18:2, and 18:21). Light is shed on its meaning when one notices that Babylon is referred to as "the great city" seven times in the book (16:19, 17:18, 18:10, 16, 18, 19, 21).

  • @07braves Other than these, there is only one reference to "the great city." That passage is 11:8, which states that the bodies of God’s two witnesses "will lie in the street of the great city, which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified."

  • @migtheazn ..i must ask you..is not all of Gods' people..when they are killed..is where Christ was put to death also?..yes!..Christ is done unto as his people were done unto..thus REV. 11 when speaking of Christ death and HIS WITNESSES. What empire was ruling in Johns' day that was killing more christians than any other great city?...ROMAN!. The churches are spoken of in rev. The false church became corrupt , apostate and a whore as did old jerusalem had done..this is why John was amazed!

  • @07braves That was Pagan Roman no Christian Roman. The RCC is not the whore but the bride of Christ. Rev. 19 7-8. Jesus Commissioned Peter to head the Church visibly on Earth. Therefore RCC is Jesus' Bride. Just because we put roman in our name does not mean pagan roman. Roman was put because that was where the bishop of Rome is stationed. Peter was the First bishop of Rome. Thus the lineage of popes was made. Before the 10th century it was only called the Catholic Church (universal Church).

  • @07braves "The great city" is symbolically called Sodom, a reference to Jerusalem, symbolically called "Sodom" in the Old Testament (cf. Is. 1:10; Ezek. 16:1–3, 46–56).

  • @07braves We also know Jerusalem is the "the great city" of Revelation 11:8 because the verse says it was "where [the] Lord was crucified."Revelation consistently speaks as if there were only one "great city" ("the great city"), suggesting that the great city of 11:8 is the same as the great city mentioned in the other seven texts-Babylon.

  • @migtheazn ..heres a thought you must ponder...i sure did. If this whore of REV. 17 was jerusalem..why didnt Paul outright name her? He certainly didnt have a problem saying the name Jerusalem in REV. 21:2. John could NOT say the name of the whore..(being roman)..because he would have suffered from the romans themselves and they would have taken his writings. The whore also has the characteristics that were also applied unto TYRE, NINEVAH, BABYLON, Chaldea, SIDON..she makes up all of them!

  • @07braves Yes Pagan Roman not Christian Roman.

  • @07braves Additional evidence for the identity of the two is the fact that both are symbolically named after great Old Testament enemies of the faith: Sodom, Egypt, and Babylon. This suggests that Babylon the great may be Jerusalem, not Rome.

  • @07braves The key word here is cup not chalice, which is used in the celebration of the Lord’s Supper—a ritual commanded by Christ (Luke 22:19–20; 1 Cor. 11:24–25).it is also fact that the majority of Eucharistic chalices Catholics use are not made out of gold, but other materials, such as brass, silver, glass, and even earthenware.

  • @07braves It is also fact that gold liturgical vessels and utensils have been part of the true religion ever since ancient Israel—again at the command of God (Ex. 25:38–40, 37:23–24; Num. 31:50–51; 2 Chr. 24:14)

  • @07braves Whore’s cup is a single symbol applying to the city of Rome, not a collection of many literal cups used in cities throughout the world. But Revelation tells us that it’s the cup of God’s wrath that is given to the Whore (Rev. 14:10; cf. Rev. 18:6). This has nothing to do with Eucharistic chalices.

  • @migtheazn ..friend we are going to nail down this rev. 12 dragon (satan) . what empire did he use? What empire killed Jesus and HE rose to his throne (REV.12:5)..What empire destroyed Jerusalem and chased the REMNANT into the wilderness that had the testimony of JESUS..the REMNANT is they that escaped JERUSALEM in 70 ad...what empire was that ..that persecuted and chased the christians?..the answer to these questions?...THE ROMANS!..so the roman beast had the 10 horns and 7 heads.

  • @07braves Again Pagan Roman not Christian Roman

  • @07braves it also does not say roman beast is says scarlet beast. And no Pope has ever sat at the seat of caesars. The word roman in RCC is to recognize that the Bishop of Rome has Authority of its Primacy, from Pope Benedict XVI all the way to Peter, the first Pope.

  • @migtheazn ..so why is it that the popes have claimed the exact name of the caesars...the roman pontiff, ...pontifex maximus. The scarlot colored beast is pagan rome (satan used) and it had 10 horns and 7 heads..as well as the 4th beast of daniel...the same beast evolved into the REV 13:1 beast..7 heads, 10 horns again are shown..and it received its power and seat etc..from pagan rome! Pagan rome fell and the little horn arose on its ruins, took its seat, and great authority..cont..

  • @07braves He is the pontiff. because he is the bishop of Rome that is what pontiff is meat, bishop. Rome did not give Christians power. Christ has given the apostles authority. not the Romans. Peter is the first among all other apostles for he was the rock upon which Jesus would build his Church and it is Peter who was given the keys of heaven by Christ. 1 John 2 18-23. The RCC is the one true Church, all the rest are in error.

  • @migtheazn part 2..this beast of REV. 13:1 has the exact same marks on the scarlot beast of REV. 12:1..Read daniel and find out about the little horns rise to power. this little horn is blasphemous..it claims it has the power to forgive sin..as this is one blasphemy mentioned within the Bible, and it claims to have the seat of CHRIST/ GOD on earth..the "VICAR OF CHRIST"..Vicarious means substitute, in the place of, representative...ANTI in the greek means..against, substitute, in the place of

  • @07braves part 2. Jesus gave power to Peter in Matthew 16 13-20. Thus Peter has been given authority by Jesus himself. both in Earth and in Heaven. Once again Peter the Apostle; the first pope, all the way to Pope Benedict the XVI today.

  • @07braves The RCC doesnt mix paganism with the truth. RCC has been there since the founding.

  • @migtheazn ... i agree IN A WAY..with your post of the RCC has been there since the founding. The church in which the apostles were helping come to fruition through Christ..was setting in the roman territories of course...thus they were under romes jurisdiction...and even back then..as Paul wrote the "MYSTERY OF INIQUITY WAS ALREADY AT WORK"...the "son of perdition" was begining to rise..in which it finally come up after the FALL OF PAGAN ROME...just as daniel and Paul said IT would.

  • @07braves Pagan Rome did fall, and Christianity did spread. Peter was at Rome preaching when he was crucified backwards. Even in the Early Church They recognized the authority of the bishop of Rome. as early as 80 AD, The Church in Corinth appeal to the 4th pope, saint Clement I, to settle a matter of dispute, despite the fact that saint John the Aposlte was still alive and was living in Epehesus, which is much closer to Corinth than was Rome.

  • @07braves Mark 16 14-18 is also one

  • Read Mortalium Animos by Pius XI (1928) who teaches the infalliblibly about Protestant Christians: “These pan-Christians who turn their minds to uniting the churches seem, indeed, to pursue the noblest of ideas in promoting charity among all Christians: how does it happen that this charity tends to injure faith?... for the union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the RETURN to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it”.

  • Uuhhhhh this is blasphemy!!! How can he say hes touched by islam.. alaa is not our Jehova... catholic doctrines make my tummy hurt!!!!!

  • Sorry, but the Catholic priest fails to make distinctions. He should know better. All are saved by Christ, even atheists! If they follow truth as they see it, they are really hearing and following Christ. "Christ speaks to all men."(John 1, verse 9). The truth they see is communicated to them by Christ,, even though they may deny God's existence. Error is there too, but error is not their fault! Sincerity is the Key to Salvation and Love and Truth come from God! Love truth & you are a believer!

  • Mohamad was a murderer! "He's a wise man" What??? He does not represent me or my Christ.

  • Yes they are thrown to hell. Come on man. This guy does not speak for Catholics.

  • @onebadgs400 What are you talking about this Father spoke about the faith as it is.

  • @misspiccola11 No he spoke about his personal belief. Sorry but the murderer that killed and raped is not going to heaven cause no one told him about Jesus.

  • @onebadgs Look at the Catechism of the Catholic Church: 848 "Although in ways known to Himself God can lead those who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel, to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men."338

  • @misspiccola11 In 2011 unless you are a tribe in the deepest part of the amazon. There is opportunity to hear the gospel. I see the heart in the catechisms but I put my faith more in the Bible then a catechism. If that makes me a bad catholic oh well.

  • @onebadgs400 My friend, we need the Church's dogmas to help us understand the Lord and what He left us to know about Him when he established the Church. He gave the Church to us (Peter) so that we may know what it is we are to put our faith He does not want us to go astray or be misinformed. You may know of the Gospels, but not know what they mean or have good religious influences in your life.

  • @misspiccola11 You sound like a pharisee. The very thing Christ came to put down.

  • Comment removed

  • @onebadgs400 People shouldn't be damned because of their ignorance. They are still God's children. Mohammad was still God's child and you cannot speak of God's children with hate in your heart no matter how ill mannered or evil they are. We must be willing to love our enemies to be truly like Christ and know Gods love. Yes, it is hard, but it is what the Lord calls us to do. (Sermon on the Mount)

  • @misspiccola11 Uh uhooo. If you don't believe in Christ then you are DAMNED PERIOD. Only kids who don't understand get a free pass. Its our duty to spread the gospel not accept demon worshipers, murderers, or other wrong doers and show them that God loves them and for them to change. Yes Mohammad is going to hell if he did not accept Christ.

  • @onebadgs400 - So good Native Americans who had lived and died before Columbus arrived in America are all going to hell because they did not believe in Jesus?

  • @mysteriumaenigma yep unless your a mormon LOL.

  • @onebadgs400 - So, how are good Native Americans (not the bad ones) that had lived and died before Columbus arrived in America going to hell? They had no clue who Jesus was.

  • @mysteriumaenigma Why didn't all the GOOD people that God gave into Israelite hands in Joshua live. God commanded women and children killed. Surely not all where BAD?!?!

  • @onebadgs400 - In World War 1 and World War 2 lots of innocent young Christian children were killed also. Surely all those children were not BAD. Christians agree that young innocent children who have not yet come to the age of reason go to heaven.

Anyway, I am NOT talking about the "killing" of innocents in the war.

I asking how the good Native Americans (not the bad ones) that had lived and died before Columbus arrived in America going to hell? They had no clue who Jesus was.

  • @mysteriumaenigma Why didn't God save the Egyptians? Why did he cause the flood? I can't answer these questions. All I am concerned about now is that we have every means to spread the grace of Christ. Lets get busy.

  • @onebadgs400 - Again you are talking about who got killed in war or flood. Innocent children who died in war or flood went to heaven. That is what Christians generally believe.

I am not talking about innocents getting killed in war or flood. I am asking about going to heaven.

I asking how are you certain that the good Native Americans (not the bad ones) that had lived and died before Columbus arrived in America going to hell? They had no clue who Jesus was.

  • @mysteriumaenigma No the native Americans will not be in heaven. just like many of the heathens countries in the OLD TESTAMENT. Come on.

  • @onebadgs400 - Please give me the verse from the bible that proves your claim that Native Americans before Columbus' arrival went to hell, given the fact that they had no clue about who Jesus was.

  • @BibleBeliever994 "Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also." 1 John 2:23 (KJV)

  • @XBleach88X Some people do not even have the opportunity to learn about the Lord, how can they then enter the kingdom of heaven with your belief? Are they just damned to hell because they were not blessed enough to know of the Lord as some of us do?
