I remember being at a library in Florida, where I had to re-design an N reactor so that the isotopes would actually melt away from each other if there was an accident, instead of creating a fiery gateway into the next life for everyone.

As a social order, we are rather on the slow side, I would say, by my estimate of the shekel.

Almost!

If you stagger each tube a quarter inch, every other tube, so that each one faces the opposite charge, you'll have it. But you really need the cars to plug into the house current supplied by a municipal water piston (dangerous, requiring safety codes and such.)

Still safer than nuclear energy.
