God, this makes me miss playing WoW so much.

My dad stopped paying in October because he didn't have as much time to play it as he used to, and so I got cut off too. Now when we talk about WoW, he says he misses it too, but now we don't have the extra $180 a year to pay. One day when I get a job though, he can bet I'll be saving up and taking his account. Haha, one day... :)

I don't play WoW, but I do love the WarCraft franchise and really like its music. This is a really awesome compilation. I think my favorite has to be "Arthas, My Son", but that's probably because it reminds me of the epic cinematic where it plays :P

its too bad the end-game is just too much raiding, phat loots, pvp, and guild drama for many people to actually sit down and enjoy the music. i myself didnt start appreciating WoW's music until after i quit :(

One of those lost little teasures in the game many people never get to hear because they have probably turned in game music off by the time they enter the Emerald Dragonshrine for the first time. Everyone should turn game music on and head over there to hear this amazing score at least once.

It's actually the same music that plays in Sholazar Basin. So I think more people get to hear it than you think. Even so, I really don't understand people who turn off their music while leveling. Getting to hear the game music makes the leveling process so much more enjoyable. (:

@RhythmDramatist No, that is incorrect. First this is not evenstar, that is composed by Howard Shore. This is from the the people who do the music for wow, all their music is original composition. This is what sets it apart from most to all mmo's.

Yeah, nothing will ever top that first romp into Blackwing Lair even while Razorgore's adds were still bugged! BS and WotLK have added a vast new dimension to the game, but us WoW "oldtimers" will always remember the good old days of vanilla WoW.
