Yeah you can do this but if the rod is egg shaped the spring will not unwind without some pulling down pressure which can cause your bar to become loose and come out of cone. The the spring unwinding really fast and could hurt you. GET A PRO! ITS NIT WORYH HURTING YOUR SELF. Doors by David conyers ga. 678-628-2275 helped me.
