yeah they make everything funky they just dont play funk anymore, which is a shame, but i bet you a million dollars and fifty-five cents they'll come back around eventually and play some fast rockin punk/funk jams like the old days for nostalgia's sake soon enough while they still can. you gotta pay tribute to your roots

One Hot Minute(tho without John) was sorta funky.

By The Way was alternative and so was everything after that to me. But still great music nevertheless. Tho Californication sounded like good ol Rock music to me.

I wish they'd drop more funky tunes. This new direction has worked well for them, but the funk is what they do.

P Funk was a band (Parliment-Funkadelic) the Red-Hots were influenced by. Look them up and you will find some killer tunes. Chili's have touched on just about every music style at some point in their career so it's an endless argument. All i know is those girls are hot and I would like to touch them.
