My dad was primarily a live music sound producer but if none of his bread and butter acts were touring a certain year he would pick up some TV or movie work.
He had the opportunity to work on a production with Mr.Steiger when I was a kid, late 60's or early 70's (memory fails) and said for years after that for the incredible actor that Mr. Steiger was he was the most down to earth and real man in Hollywood. I think that that fact is very well illustrated here.
