This game has a steep learning curve. And when I say steep, I mean 90 fucking degrees all frozen up without climbing shoes steep. I'm sure it's a great game and I wish I would've gotten into it sooner, but first let's figure out wtf I'm supposed to be doing.
ive been playing for a mouth and already have a fleet of split ships. 6 split heavy dragons, a tiger, two panthers, a cobera, a raptor and finnly a python. Im not saying how many fighter to many to count but there is one thing that i hate about the game that is that all the turret on one side fire at one thing when in real live every turret would fire at a diffrent ship i wish that would be in the game making it look cooler but its still i great game
Not necessarily. If all fire at different targets, it would take longer to destroy a ship or whatever you target. So I could see why they would all fire at the same spot.
its an awesome game kinda hard if your just starting but none the less beautiful game an not some thing you an can finish in a few hours like most games
But if you never play any X game before be ready to read alot in the forums and tons of tutorials...if you can do so you'll find that game to be one of the best games ever created.
Whoa whoa whoa buddy. Before you jump to conclusions, let it be said that this game requires much time and patience to play, let alone learn the controls.
In X3TC you start from almost nothing and work your way up to building an empire.
the game its a little hard to learn..and at first its a little boring ..but when u buy a factory your credits will coming good ...i m playing x game serios from the first game:D....
I havent played Terran Conflict yet, but I can tell you this game is not friendly to new people. It isnt easy to just pick up and play. But once you get the basics of it, its probably the best space sim around in my opinion. Take time to learn it, then you will enjoy it. Like Armatige said, go to the forums. They are very helpful.
I would highly recommended that you head over to the official forums and read through some of the things that they say there.
The game is VERY trade intensive. If you want a game that is just dog fighting, then this is not really it. But it does have dog fighting, capital ship fighting etc.
Great game, People should really get this, although some people are turned away because of the difficulty, but what would be the fun is a easy game?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This trailer sucks. I don't get how a dogfight screen will look like, those scenes just look like cinematics.

the game looks exactly like the cinematic - right down to the pretty explosions.
don't knock something till you've tried it.

I got this game a week ago. I'll probably be slow to achieve anything, and lose many fights, but I never played a game that was so open-ended.
I really hope they continue to add more to this game, I'd play it forever.

Trailers have won me over. I'm getting the game. =)
I can already taste the glory of massive armada engagements and in owning humongous space stations and peerless fleets. ^.^

Do you have such time to invest?

For the moment, I think I do.
I appreciate the heads-up.
I don't expect to start the game and have an empire established or an armada at my command, make no mistake.
Building them is part of the fun in such games, I know. It will make them all the more satisfying to possess.

I play this game since X2 came out and its beyond you can imagine it worfs every penny

Yeah, I saw my friend play this and bought it right away it looked amazing.
But as soon as I was without his guidance I was so lost I just got frustrated and stopped playing.
I think I'll give it another go, I really liked the depth it had.
