I resided in Brasher Falls for 3 months with a woman that is mentioned on a billboard in this video, (We had a room above Erin's Isle). Brasher Falls is in the heart of the alcoholic capitol of New York State. For a person that does not drink or like to socialize with those that do, Brasher Falls or anywhere in St. Lawrence County would be recommended. Just drunks and dopers, and at least one lying, cheating, untrustworthy woman that I know.
Brasher has changed a lot. LaFaves store gone, Booths Hardware gone, Bill's Barber shop gone, Houg Oil now IGA, Lil's gone. Towns smaller and the school got larger???
I was never raised in brasher falsl or North Lawrence,but i have cruised around out that way.Its beautiful,used to go four-wheel in my jeep out that way whenever i had the gas.I come from a small town myself called waddington.It's also very pretty once you get outta the "town"area and get closer to the outskirts out where i live.
went to school at st lawrence..raised in north lawrence till i was 19 and moved to florida....you never really know how much you miss something till its been gone for a while..and its been a while....miss upstate alot..thanks for posting
