@ExtremeRecluse2011 I never said it was bad, but "putting other metal to shame" is going pretty far, in fact it's completely untrue, as for Australian metal my favorites are Psycroptic, Chaos Divine and Be'lakor.
only place that seem to supply these guy's albums is leading edge music and JB Hifi. glad i found there main first album Catatonic. may come in handy for later once they get famous in the industry and noone can get the album.
@smokejc i disagree . i think the lastest album of sybreed is not boring . this album is great and it is hardest to compose and to play from their all albums . its more melodic but and more heavy . poa just need more listenings to understand it . of course synthetic breed is too awesome . last album is fucking killer
WTF they dont sound like Sybreed at all. This album sounds awesome but these guys will never blow up cause they sound like Meshuggah. No good label wants a watered down version of whats already out.
@JamesGod08 well, different styles. Synthetic Breed is more prone to providing us with Extreme Metal, while Sybreed are more of an Industrial/Cyber Metal kind of band. You can't put a finger on who's better by saying "oh these guys are heavier, therefore better". Can't say I'm not biased, since I prefer Sybreed, but listen to songs like Revive My Wounds, Meridian A.D., Machine Gun Messiah, Lucifer Effect, Decoy, just to name a few. Both bands achieve great levels of kickass easily.
@pronstorestiffi I have to agree that their latest album isn't up to par with the other two, but it also has to do with production. The guitars don't have that punch that you can hear on Antares and Slave Design, but that has to do with the production itself. Meridian A.D., for instance, is one of the best things they've ever done.
How can you compare this against sybreed euro metal is the best by far. i bet u know fuck all about music to make a statement like that.. sybreed fucks u up, down and sideways.

I would agree somewhat, Sybreed had a bombshell of a debut album, Anatares was ok too. But the lastes one i just find boring to listen to.
They classed it up too much, too listener friendly, if that makes sense.
But on the other hand Synthetic Breed has been stellar so far on both their full length albums.
