cattani e un moralista di quattro soldi. un personaggio troppo plastico e montato per essere un eroe del popolo. comunque il film ha altri meriti. il modo qui la mafia e trata come una cosa quazi super naturale, la musica indimenticabile e la usa dei leitmotif sono geniali. pero la piu grande tesoro di questo film e la manera qui si tratta de le tragedie personali dei protagonisti especialmente quelli negativi
