Are you going to rev the bejeesus out of your 4x4 while your rock crawling or navigating a trail or do you want tire-lifting grunt bascially off idle? For this application you'd have more power available more of the time where you need it. The SV motor has wicked torque (but not the highest HP). My SV takes my buddy's R1 in the 1/8th mile and in lower speed roll-ons and he probably has 30-35 horse on me. I have 115 dyno tested HP at the wheels.

I'm a bit over stock with my bike but it was always a great engine. I have personally rebuilt my motor (bulletin on main bearings, out of warranty, suspected leaky valve seals and just as something to do over winter-I'm a diesel engine mechanic, this little stuff is fun) with JE 12.5:1 pistons, minor port and polish, valve lap, Power Commander 3 (dyno tuned at local shop), K&N filter and Ti-Force full titanium exhaust system.

inline 4 motors have their advantages. but v-twin motors also have theirs. I ride a v-twin bike and love the torque over top end. I'm glad someone put a twin in one instead of the usual I-4.

im saying suzuki is good as in they make the busa my friend rides a sv650 it's really nice. I was responding to the comment that suzuki sucks and it doesn't. In my opinion they make the best bikes and atv's of anyone.
