Personally, I don't really see why people have to be hating on a transformers series before it comes out. People thought Transformers Animated would suck, but after it was released, it immediately gained a large fan base. This new series looks very promising, I'm gonna give it a chance and see what it's like.

i was oping this was gonna be based off of war for cybertron, oh well at least it has Peter Cullen and Frank Welker, lets hope the writers dont fuck up like Michael Bay did.

Don't get me wrong some of them were great, I loved the Unicron trilogy but thanks to the crap the new writers are putting out it makes it exceedingly difficult to want to still watch transformers.

@Slashercon That would never happen because it was G1 that became so popular it spurred the original 80's movie. Transformers then gathered a following large enough to create several more series. Eventually they made the movie because of those original series. Suck it smart ass.

The walking sound kinda reminded me of Gundam Wing. That was the same sound used when the Gundams (or the other mobile suits I guess) are walking.

And I'm glad they used the live action movie transformation here. This is gonna be great.

Certainly an improvement since Energon and Cybertron. The 2D backgrounds with the 3D robots was terrible.

I think I'm already in love with this new series. Can't wait to see how the final animation compares to Beast Wars/Beast Machines.

eh....I dont like all the 3D backgrounds and stuff,and from the looks of it,they do need to add more movements to the transformation. When BB transformed,it looked like a bunch of parts spawned out of nowhere,not even the original cartoon was like that,they still need to work on this if they expect it to go anywhere. Hope we see a new toy line

the random violence keeps the spirit of the Original TV show, but the transition between vehicle to autobot/deception needs to have a little more movement....
