This band was great during the 2006 national competition. Although my band won, but i think these girls should be ranked top 5. Thei formation was like running the whole way. Moreover, they're using high-heels, if i'm not mistaken..heheh..thei performance in 2006 was great. Now, they have improved a lot. GREAT JOB girls..
Sigh, i miss the times when SMI was the leading band in kinta district. In my times, we worked our asses off, day and night, hot not cold, and we fought with so many disadvantages against AMC, and still won. Now, instruments are equally matched, number too, yet, the quality dropped. Trully as a veteran of the Percussion, i'm sadden.
Why AMC won? cause they were really good. From what i saw of this short clip, they were organised, syncronized and moved well, and their formation was original, and new.
Why SMI lost? No originality at all in their formation. In fact, we did that formation during one of my years. And the song selection, same old, same old. Trully i am dissappointed to see the same formation repeating itself. Have some creativity guys, and get Mun Meng to compose better formations.
In my years, with my batch, we never found AMC to be of any trouble, infact we'll always beat them flat. Mind that at my time AMC wore white mini skirts, with long white boots, and they looked far cuter then they seem in this costume. Never the less, in my years we beat them in every aspect, except the number ratio.
LOL this is so unfair my school SMI should get no.1 instead of no.3 !!! There win by using their ladies charm !!! But i had to admit their pretty cute, too bad SMI is a boy school -_-'
