The first Mustang is generally referred to as a 1964 and a half year model. But, since it debuted in the first third of '64 (April), shouldn't it be called a 1964 and a third model?

Well everyone has one for a reason. I would rather drive my 1956 Bel Air, my 1955 Chevrolet 210, my 1958 Apache, my 1959 Apache, or my 1964 Impala Super Sport, than drive a poor man's porsche.
