For those who are haing trouble understanding what's going on. Watch the first season a few times, then watch the movie. Seriously the creators of Haruhi actually put in little messages in the eps leading up to the movie. mainly at the beginning, when watching the series, take in every word said by each character and try to remember their story. For me it took about 3 times watching the movie and several times watching the series to fully understand the story of the movie. My fave anime movie :D
