I have to come back every so often to watch this video because it is a fantastic show of what Scottish music should sound like - a man with his box and a small band backing him. The amount and style of the ornamentation is just right, the timing is bang on and the playing style overall just has that perfect bounce to it. Thank you very much for sharing this clip.
@ScotsmanRS Your welcome, I wish I had more videos like this, he was a great man and a very talented box player and we all miss him and his music. Cheers,
Kilts arent the best clothing for men, haggis is horrible, bagpipes cant be called a musical instrument, tossing the caber has never caught on as an Olympic sport, a full Scottish breakfast is a full English with haggis, etc. Everything Scottish is essentially...shite.
Oh yes a very nice Song on the accordion as well as the bag pipes. You did an excellent job my friend. Keep up the wonderful work. I loved it emensly. BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO!
Amazing job, I've watched this one about 100 times since I found it on here. I'm just learning and this is motivation at it's best. You must be very proud of your dad, and he must be proud of your playing as well. If you have any other videos of him, please post them,
OMG OMG Your dad is awsome i love both songs, he is a mater of the accordian just like my Grandad untill his day June 17 1997, P.S. I would of loved to meet him. Andrew

oooops, I went to rate this as a 5 star but when I double clicked the stars it registered a 4....ahhhh sorry Chris, you know me though, I was always a clutz lol!!! May heavenly (Irish) Choirs of Angels sing yee to thy eternal peace. :)
Awesome Chris!!! Do you have more video's of your father? It is so perfectly natural to see him this way. He could have had his own TV show for the Shenanigans.
