man you are inspiring. i feel like i can relate to you so much. i hate the way the scene has changed. right as i was getting into it, i've seen it basically destroyed. and you are so right, i hate it how people just ASSUME i do drugs because i shuffle. i hate it so much. i go out to feel the music, and rock it through my body from my ears down to my feet. i dont go out to get drunk or do drugs. the music is the only thing i need to max out my night. that and water to stop me from dying. lol :P
this is awesom.. i havent been to pharmacy is it good?? ilove all the songs.. but im a raver not a shuffler... is it true that raving is dead?? :( i love raving!! i cant shuffle lol
its not "dead" but it has changed. i mean this was 2006, and now in 2009 i wont go anymore cos its so different. its now the "cool" thing and the music has lost a lot of its passion in my opinion. i miss it.
ou are so right. alot of the music haas lost its passion and meaning but i honestly think its the minority of people now fucking up events for music and atmosphere lovers like u and me. i mean, look what happened at trance energy, its disgusting! so shattered about defcon :(
I didnt hear about defcon? what happend? but yeh ive become a bit of a desk chair raver unfortunately, only going to the few events that still excite me. i mean know you go ANYWHERE and shuffle and ur assumed to be a drugbag piece of shit, when i dont even drink let alone take pills for fucks sake.
thats so true!! but thats what everyone things about me when i start raving and i dont take drugs either and its really annoying to be categorised like that. defcon isnt coming back to melbourne because there was too many overdoses by wankas taking GBH and its sucks and gets me so angry because music lovers like us cant enjoy places like this and events because of them!! its sucks bad!! i jus listen to it on my ipod now lol
WOW! You think its changed that much since 06? The whole scene changed years before that. Back in the 90s and early 2000s were the days. Down @ the Docks in Melbourne. No commercialism, no attitudes, just straight up partying with like minded people who just wanted to have a boogie. The scene is a far cry from what it was back then. But that wont stop me from going out now though. As long as i'm enjoying the music i'll keep partying. Surround yourself with positive people and you will enjoy it.
Oh nah i agree its changed over a longer period of time, the point i was making is that its amazing how in 3 years its changed as much as it has, what i left was LET ALONE the past decade!
gotta agree, I remember when raving was all about just enjoying the music, these days nobody wants to go unless they know how to shuffle. It looks cool and it's fun to do, but at the end of the day raving is all about music and atmosphere.
hey man i dont touch drugs. never have never will, i go for the music. and very rarely shuffle now, and i fuckin hate hardstyle now too lol. spewin my youtube name is this
At the 2:24 second mark. Who are ya's talking about in the conversation. "Look at him mate, look at him" "held be peaking his head off" then "I feel sorry for him". Who were they talking about? what was he doing?
Get fucked ill have u know ive never tried anything in my life. i dont even drink when i go out. but a lot of ppl do and 90% is prolly a close prediction if not 95

obviously peaking his head off and on drugs, like 90% of the rest of the people inside pharmacy.
blueneon07 4 years ago
90% is a bit of an assumption dont you think?...
CrackersRoyale 4 years ago
85% then? I think its fair to say 85% of people were on drugs there...like most raves.
