This is probably one of the saddest things I've EVER heard... She was beautiful, an AMAZING rider, she had a great sense of humor, she wasn't that far from perfect. The only thing that would make her perfect is for her to be down here with us. But I guess God thought He needed an angel himself, so he picked her... Imagine how Boomer feels... and all the horses she's ridden, all the people she knew, all the people she just walked by in the grocery store... R.I.P...

I really wish I had known Jess. She seems so amazing with the horses. My horse acts alot like Truffles, he's never ridden bare-back and within 2 weeks of trying he was trotting bare-back with me. My best friend tried it and My horse (Indy) wont let anyone else but me ride him bare-back.

If only Jess hadnt past away so soon, I'm sure she could have gone so far with horses. RIP Jess, hope ur enjoying the horses there in heaven. P.S, If u see my old horse pease say hi for me. :(

If the date(as in 2008) was correct she died only like 17 days after this video was up. I think that is SOO sad and she is an insperation to everyone she knew and to people she doesn't or didn't know. R.I.P Jessica<3

you dont need a whip. give the horse some time and it will go over.

No, she was right not to have a whip. Its that horses FIRST time across the flowers. A whip would be necessary if it was just a lazy/stubborn horse that didnt want to cross the flowers. If the horse was unsure, it would only increase fear by using the whip. What the horse needs is encouragement to get across verbally and with leg cues. Its a patience thing.

yes, 17 days after she posted this in fact... there was an accident while she was riding, boomer bolted with her and she tried to use the fence to stop him but at the speed they were going boomer flipped over it, and landed on her on the other side. she was killed instantly
