OMG Thats great. Also not only good the shiomano Stella Spin reel, also the angler is so good ! I have got Shiomano Stella 4000 and love it more after this video.
Good fisherman knew what he was doing and when to apply the pressure. Of course a lot of credit should be given to the Skipper who brought the boat to the fish.
anybody competent know exactly what reel this is? iknow its a shimano spinning but is it a stella a stradic or the sustain fe? i've been looking for a light but tough enough setup for nasty covers like this.
Unfortunaly, I could record, but I catch a blue marlin(250 pounds or more) on my Tyrnos 16, with 20Lbs test line. A fight of one and half hour until a line broke, ok it was my fault, but the fight with a nice light reel like tyrnos was great, who cares with a line brake, I would release the fish.
The guy that hooked the sailfish was using a shimano sustain 3000FE with a shimano starlostik tournament pro midspin 701 rated to 3-6kilo and the line he had on the sustain was sufix dyneema braid around 8-10 pnd so 3.6 to 4.5 kilo, how would i know all this. I got the sustain 4000FE with the shimano starlostik tounament pro MAXSPIN 721 rated to 4-7kilo, ive loaded the sustain up with daiwa tournament dyneema braid 20pnd and fishing with it is a breeze.
As 123exilim, said, nice fish, but thanks for releasing. I love fishing, but love the chase and not the kill. It is sometimes just as hard to return a fish alive. Well done though.
it couldnt be mono line the reel hes using doesnt hold enough capacity of mono i say he had a good 50lbs braid and i own a stradic 5000fi 2008 model and its the best reel i own and i own 4 different reels look no further BUY SHIMANO
Please ppl!!! don't buy a Sustain if you can afford a Stella or Van Staal. Van Staal make the best reels in the world, why? because I just bought one.
what pole is that?
