She is incredible! I love the choreography!! Oh gosh, the Glassharmonica always sounds so wonderful with this scene. I've never actually seen it played!

What a piece of SHIT of production. Some stage directors especially in Germnay should be EXECUTED!. I think it even takes much more energy to create such crap.
Oh, what a production. The singing is absolutely great, I think, but somehow the acting doesn't strike. I loved Boesiger from the beginning of the first part, though. One should have seen the whole piece. But I'm not (yet) a Lucia specialist.
Actually Donizetti had orginally scored the scene with glassharmonica instead of flute. Eventually it became far to complicated to have (and play) one. This is a great rendition, I like my Lucias to be gory!
Ugh, a microphone for the glass harmonica? Why not put it on the LOWER side of the bowls, less visible, even a sort of pick-up mike instead? Cool, though - you go B. Franklin!
Please....what is this?????? it's really horribleeeeeeee!!!!!!

Yikes, have to agree on the awful staging part, but Boesinger is great at least.

people who write inhuman and absolutely low class things like that should be forbidden to express their personal opinion.

sometimes it's preferable for a tenor to sing Arturo rather than Edgardo.

I hate it how they have such a connection with lucia and the glass harmonica-ist..

Hey, Donizetti wrote the nurder off-stage, and Arturo is never seen after the wedding (although I wanted my dead-body skills to be tested).

the version with glassharmonica is a smart choice which makes the masterpiece even more dramatic.
