  • nice camo for AR.

  • Hi I wanted to verify plz if patriot ord is a Pakistani company?

  • @khan611 NO...POF*USA has NOTHING to do with Pakistani Ordnance.

  • Comment removed

  • @khan611 nope its Patriot ordinance factory based in Az

Pakistan Ordin is based in wah cantt lol

  • I've seen you done some videos with an LWRC as well, in your opinion which do you consider to be the better of the two? and why?

  • Nice vid.

    I have a POF 16" that I plan on converting to a SASS. I am getting a 9.25" upper for <300 meters.

How does the 16" perform out to to 500-800 meters? do you have any DOPE that you wouldnt mind sharing?

  • great paint job I'm going to try paint a bushmaster 6.8 like the gun shown, but i'm going to use more of a tan dark tan color

  • They look like Millett rings, but i forget what scope he said it was. i think it was an early version of the Millett DMS-1.

  • ir doesn't hurt, tho POF's guns are NP3 coated (includes Teflon for low friction) and are advertised as dry running guns

They're on the higher end of AR accuracy too

  • NP3 is almost exactly like the NiCorr coating on LWRC rifles.

I like NiCorr a little better though. Just because from what I know it's more durable. Lifetime durable. I don't know about NP3.

  • I still say that gas piston ARs arent the way to go.

  • I think they are, and I respect your opion.

    But may I ask why?

  • The AR was never meant to use a gas piston and when you retro fit a new type of system into a already purpose built platform u run right into problems. One expample is carrier tilt. This breaks the lugs off the bolt after a few thousand rounds and also messes up the insides of the ar by being to harsh on the working of the action. Also it transfers heat the the handguards and can make shooting very uncomfortable in a lil bit. So i say if your going to make a gas piston gun desgin one first.

  • This is a valid argument,

but it is countered by designs that have countered carrier tilt. LWRC, POF.

There is a different striking key on the LWRC model (This is the one I'm most experienced with so I'll talk to that one.) that when the piston hits it, the bolt goes only forward, and backward, instead of striking the key unevenly and breaking the lug. I also think there is a rail or something in the reciever. I need to look again. I'll speak on it more when I'm not in a rush. Thanks.

  • @irbananasalad trying to decided which is a better rifle, LWRC or POF?

  • @sean20t I have 'em both and I like the LWRC a little better. POF's rail system is garbage but you can get a Daniel Defense rail for it

  • @flyhighkev Please explain to me why the POF rail system is garbage. I have a P-308 and everyone who's seen and handled my rifle LOVES the rail, including myself.

  • @xPH3N0Mx I hate the rail because of the raised height, the ridiculous size compared to other company's rail systems such as LWRC, LMT, HK. I also despise the fact that the rail I got is out of spec and POF was gonna charge me shipping to have them "inspect it!" Shipping both ways to boot even if it was found by them to be out of spec. I realize the rail has to be large enough to work with POF's heat sink/barrel nut. Another thing I can't stand is how the rail screws onto the upper receiver

  • @flyhighkev To each their own, I guess. I have nothing negative to say about POF and as I stated in my other post, everyone who has handled my rifle at each gun show I attend, they can't keep from drooling on my setup.

  • you can, but not as necessary

  • @GunWebsites Ummm can you explain why you wouldn't lube the bolt? The bolt moves the same in a gas piston as it does in any other gun...

  • @Awbeee

    see the word "as" ??

In English that has a meaning.. I never said NOT to or DON'T ..

  • @GunWebsites The function of the bolt doesn't change in a gas piston system when compared to DI... Why would you lube it any less? Why is it not "as" necessary. I just don't understand why it is "as" necessary. My bolts get lubed the same in my piston guns and my DI guns...

  • @GunWebsites Why is it any different? If you had asked about cleaning I might agree with you but lubing should be the same in either a DI or a gas piston as far as I can tell.

  • @Awbeee Gas piston rifles do not vent the hot gasses that carry contaminants back into the chamber, the gasses are vented out towards the front of the handgaurds. POF also coats all of it's internal parts with a self-lubricating coating that is supposed to not need additional lubrication. I own three POF rifles and have not needed to do anything but wipe down the carrier and chamber area now and then. One rifle has over 10,000 rnds without ever being lubricated.

  • Would like to compare my Ruger to the POF, but since I've been waiting 40 Weeks for the POF...cancelled it, so I guess I'll never find out.

  • POF > Ruger. Every day.

  • i think the suppressor should be painted in the same scheme as the rifle

  • i agree. and i dont like voltor stocks, i prefer crane or standard m4 stocks

  • its possible that they put it on after they painted the gun.

  • thats probaly what happened, but now they should paint it if they have the right

  • ya i know i would... unless maybe they use it on different guns other than that one, then i would leave it black.

  • yeah me too....the rifle looks pretty good...im sry my country's so strict on guns
