There's been MANY Sonic robots in Sonic history. Pseudo Sonic was exclusive to not only the cartoon, but to the Archie Comics as well. Don't forget about the Silver Sonic in Sonic 2 (MS/GG and Genesis) and Mecha Sonic (S3&K). Also, I don't know if you read the Comics, but Sonic was roboticized by Robotnik, and was forced to attack the Freedom Fighters, until Knuckles came along to fight Sonic in order to save him.

@monkey9ful Historically, Robotnik was supposed to be the evil half of an old scientist who helped Sonic to run by building him his shoes, or something along those lines. The original good doctor Kintobor was turned evil from an experiment gone awry with the chaos emeralds, and when Robotnik was destroyed, his consciousness was put into an android body - which is the new Eggman we have nowadays.

That's how the UK comics played it, anyway.

Yeah I know right. The only good Sonic games of the decade are Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Shadow The Hedgehog, and Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood. Most of the rest sucked. It's a damn shame too, it's a legendary video game franchise going down like that. I mean Mario's still going strong, Zelda's only getting better as time goes by, Pokemon, well it's not going anywere though the anime series did it more harm then good I say. Well I havn't played Sonic Unleashed yet so I wouldn't know. I only played the first Sonic Rush, didn't like it that much, though I've read some good reviews about the second. Didn't like sonic advanced 1 & 3. Never played two. And what do you mmean Shadow the Hedgehog was bad, I still play it at times. It had a darker story line, guns and vehicles too. Plus a killer storyline. The only thing I didn't like about it was it was edited and censored for content. Other than that it was spectacular.

really?! you don't like the sonic handheld games! Those are the best recent sonic games yet! It gives you a feeling of old sonic gaming... the way it should be. Shadow the hedgehog I enjoyed playing it a little (because yeah im sort of a sonic fangirl :) ). But honestly that game was bad. The controls were so loose and slippery, there was no lock on, and come on does shadow really need a car (as fast as he is :). A majority of sonic fans hate that game. we really don't need guns in a sonic game.

No, I don't hate all of them. All the game gear games were good, Sonic chronicles the dark brotherhood was exceptional (chao garden was put back in and even I have to admit, they are damn cute) and Sonic battle was pretty good, I hear good things about Sonic Rivals. The Sonic Advance series was only like the first ones asthetically I say, I know, I've been playing the genesis games since I was like 6. As for Shadow, since he's my fav sonic character I love his game. And I never liked lock on.

Now that you metioned sonic chronicles and chao gardens in them. I now want to play that game! It's sort of like a RPG too (or it is a RPG). X-play I believe gave it a 4 out of 5, bioware must have done a great job developing the game. I never played sonic rivals (unfortunately, I have no psp) :( but yeah I sort of enjoyed playing shadow the hedgehog a bit but the concept just seemed desperate. If they made a knuckles game i'll prob be as pleased you are with shadow's game. :)

Well, Knuckles had a game that was half his. He also had his own comic book series, before Shadow, Knuckles was my favorite character. I think it really sucked that Shadow the Hedgehog was edited. In the original version of the game there was more swearing and had more realistic blood, more of it too, plus soldiers didn't disappear when they died, they also edited the scene where Maria was shot. So in the end only the watered down E10 was put out. I just liked guns and cars cause it was gangsta
