i didn't get to watch all of it but those stats were sooo sad. It reminded me off that story they ran on the news last year at some stage about that kid who had their head shoved in a toilet then her cousin slammed the lid down on her head repeatedly.... they recorded it as well. I hate people that do those kinds of things! its one of the reasons why i want to be in law enforcement (well forensics anyway).

Donald "Pee Wee" Gaskins came into my awareness, obviously through my own research, my greatest reference point of course was all the hard work done by the pioneer Robert Ressler. I agree with your sentiment whole heartedly, which is why I believe that child abuse is a Hidden Epidemic that absolutely MUST addressed if we are to have a future as a species. You are right, if the seed wasn't planted to begin with...

Great video. I am shocked to see you used Donald "Pee Wee" Gaskins photo in it. I am the creator of a web site about Pee Wee Gaskins and am currently writing a book about what I have learned since researching him. While I don't condone crime or violence, I am convinced that a big part of the problem stems from the darkness forced upon kids from narrow minded and uneducated adults. my point is this, i am not a serial killer, but there before grace go I. the internal rage i have had to live with, plus the mental illnesses i deal with DAILY, are indescribable, but i take it out on myself, not others. but it's just a toss of the coin, and, i could've easily been one. my point is this, i am 57, and am nearly destitute, my life has been a mess, and i am alone. if you think child abuse doesn't have an effect on someone, read this again. and if a child tells you, BELIEVE THEM.

as a child i was slapped, punched, kicked, slammed against walls (off the floor), burned, scratched, pinched, smothered, hair pulled, backhanded, and hit in the head. i was rejected, abandoned, ridiculed, laughed at,told i was lazy, stupid, good for nothing, fat, mean, and a liar. i was molested by both sexes, and all of this happened before i was 12 years old, by my family. when i told, i wasn't believed, ant to this day am not by them, who i haven't seen i 10 years and don't plan to again...

It did come out a little harder to see on the vid than I wanted but I'm a writer not a vidder by nature.

Unless you were talking about the horrors that far too many children see in their daily lives cause that too is hard to see. The thing though is that we can't stop it if we don't open our eyes.

I own this book and it is one great book! You definitely deserve a lot of credit not only for writing this story but for daring to do so as well.

This book is insanely thrilling and touch base with topics we never want to "know" are out there yet they are and buy thousands if not millions!

This is a great book worth reading!

Manson also reflected the solution to this problem. reincarnation aside...when children are born into this world, they do not posses what we precieve as communication skills. Us adult humans are so quick to write an experience off as a memory or a verbal statement, when really, it's an experience.

the parents teach children not to experience by saying "dont do that!", simply because our reality/truth doesnt match up to the child's & we think that this child is "ours" as a possesion.

Sadly we do see children as possessions or extensions of ourselves more frequently than we give them credit for having their own personalities. And Manson had quite the catalog of experiences of his own, most of them probably emotionally debilitating since he had so few coping skills.
