The second place sedan was the only one worthy of an award. Everything else was borderline stock or riced out! I lol'd at the first place Ion, what the hell kind of judge gave a half painted and poorly fiberglassed car an award? Then an Ion Redline which is okay, and another stock Ion. I have less than 20 hours into my first gen SL1 and it's better than all of those sedans. Is this still going on? Because I would like to enter and have a good laugh.

well the 1.9L DOHC engine is a strong engine. I don't think anything will happen to it no time soon.. I drove mine like I stole it.. LOL and never had nothing cept the shifter cable broke and that sucked ass.. right in middle of town and got stuck in 3rd gear..

lol, actually did replace the plugs recently...ive only been taking care of the car for a few months, and totally forgot to check them b4. i have a strong feeling they were the originals, thats 120k miles. they were corroded like hell, and had twice the recommended gap, and car still ran very well. after i chenged them out, it was sooo much smoother, but surprisingly not much of a power increase. oh!! and does cleaning out ur throttle body actually increase power??? assuming its not too dirty

I dont really like the cars from this vid but

I could accomplish high 13s with a 1996 saturn, using a td04 "Throw-Away" turbo.

Can be purchased around 250 bucks, probably put you at 200hp crank,give or take for 8 psi.

Seeing as its a 2200lb vehicle, with trq to match hits hp, (trq coming in at 4000rpms)

13s should be attainable.

I believe, fuel pump and injectors are needed before cranking any more boost. Going off of memory here, this is from probably 5 years ago lol.
