i have 3 at&t go phone sim cards and none of them are working.

do you have any idea why they aren't working, do only specific firmwares work?

Just go to AT&T store ask for an activated sim, pick your plan I got the unli talk n txt for about $60 it's a go phone plan I just told then I have my own phone and they gave me a sim card. It worked with my 3G and with my iPhone 4 you just have to cut the sim into a micro for the iPhone 4.

@HendyZero2... Strange experience you've had moving a GoPhone SIM from one phone to another. I've had mine in three different phones (no, I'm not bragging - lol) and it has worked just fine. Is this an iPhone-specific phenomenon? I'd hate to go through the process of porting my number.

Actually Guys, TMOBILE has a better plan now. WIth Their new EVEN MORE PLUS PLAN. YOU can get the sim with a plan on their site, just go check it out. Make SUre your Iphone is unlocked first.

Look Guys when you do this REMEMBER to NEVER put the SIM in the Gophone. You have to put the sim in the Iphone after YOU ACTIVATE the SIM. You dont need the sim inside the phone while you activate it. So just go activate with the GOPHONE IMEI But never put sim in that phone because the SIM AUTOMATICALLY LOCKS TO THE FIRST PHONE YOU PUT IT IN.

you cant send a picture text with a iphone 3g you have to get a program from te app store think its like 5.99 for unlimited picture texting, only way to send pics, or threw email, only thing i hate about my iphone, but still the best phone out there, and my att iphone, works on trac phone simms as well

Everyone makes it sound so hard. I just did this, if you buy with credit it will lock to that phone for 6 months. BUT all you have to do is call ATT tech support and they will unlock your sim. I just told them that my gophone broke and I needed to unlock the sim. Then they will ask for an IMEI number and tell them that you cant read it on your old nokia gophone. They say no problem. Then you put the sim card in your iphone and it works. Jailbreak and unlock first.

if you had bought the new at&t sim with a $50 airtime included then you cant use your sim with any phone or unlocked phone it will only work on the phone that comes with it. that sim card will be locked in to your phone for 4 months after that you can use it to any phone. i suggest you buy the older at&t sim cards available at ebay if you want to use your iphone 3g with a at&t prepaid service

All you have to do is call att tech support and they will unlock your sim for you. Just say your phone broke and you need your sim unlocked....

doesn't work for me man... do you think its because i activated it online using the nokia IMEI? luckily it was buy 1 get 1 free so i got another shot. my iphone is unlocked and jailbroken with 3.1.2 firmware. it says "No Service" like it should but still doesn't make calls. Yes, tell them you don't have one or just google search for one. The 100mb is NOT unlimited, there is not unlimited. It lasts for as long as you make it last for.

i brought the same gophone on this video, went through all the activation stuff and it doesn't WORK! :( Yes my phone is running 3.0.1 and yes its jailbrown with ultrasn0w. So why doesn't it work? Should I have not input the gophones IMEI #? Should I have input my iphones IMEI# on the ATT activation page? It works great in the gophone, but it doesn't on the IPHONE. Anyone no a fix???????????????????

i did that with my iPhone go phone and it works perfectly.

note i didnt have my OLD SIM card in my iphone when i looked for the IMEInumber

I dont know if you ever herd of the Peek Pronto, but it is a device that you check your emails from for $15 a month. It has a T-Mobile Sim Card. Do you think you can use that SIM Card in the iPhone?
